wouldnt this take badwater off quickplay? Sure we could put it in the custom maps but i don't see the point... it wouldn rarely fill. and if it did people would rtv off it eventually to another map.

How about rotating this map with pl_badwater on the badwater servers? That way you still get quickplay and every hour-ish it changes to pl_badwater_snowy. The map looks cool and I think everyone who plays badwater would really enjoy it.

+1 add to rotation

Had a friend run this map on a brand new server, brand new IP. Stayed consistently full for 3 hours (18+ players) before it died... people really love this map.

So someone who actually played it posts too.

Terrible cancer map, way too dark, can't see anything. It's a nice take and really catches the festive period's spirit, but totally unsuitable to actually play TF2 on it.

Rainy Badwater on the other hand actually offers a different gameplay and can be fun with friends though.

Are you kidding me? it plays fine. You are just used to super bright badwater... or you have some stupid graphics settings. It's a little bit tougher for snipers and harder to see cloaked spies, etc. Yeah sure but it's definitely playable and people like it.

I played on it for like an hour and half yesterday and I didn't think it was too dark.

That's because it's not too dark... it feels like it at first cuz like I said we are used to bright daytime Badwater for the past 5 years. But after you play a couple rounds you realize it's fine, and glorious.
