In-game, I thought "Wallhack" was the closest to describing this; by the sounds of it, "cheating" isn't quite the same - if there's a list of definitions I'd appreciate a link.

In the photo, you'll see another player by the name of knrd (and listed in status output) - who was explaining how to achieve this hack.

This sort of thing is quite annoying for everyone on the server - do the bans get more severe for repeat offenders? 1 day seems quite lenient.

Yes they raise in lenghts. It was his first offense. Our default ban lenghts are 1day->3days->1week->1month. Thank you for reporting him! I will check out the other guy when i get back to PC.
