I think a comp sub in tf2 would be fairly helpful.

A sticky could include the lobby information.

Contents could be things like bullshit frag videos, links to demos for criticism or lulz, LFT and LFM posts. (Looking For Team, Looking For Members) If we can get enough casual teams together they can talk about setting up scrims or about difficulties with certain maps or areas. It could also be a nice way to share resources with each other.

If nothing else this subforum should exist if we ever actually think of having a small in house tournament again.

This suggestion has been implemented. Votes are no longer accepted.
i don't see the point really. just post in TF2 section

we don't have a competive US team. i remember them trying to set one up but it never got anywhere.

We have an EU one, but games are organized through this website anyway so why do we need it? everything u posted can easily go in the tf2 section

Yeah, and trades fall under tf2 as well but there is a whole series of forums dedicated to them.

I'm thinking it would be a good idea because there's an eu team looking for members, at least one team that's in ugc that's 90% from turbine(The tag they use is BS, but they advertise as being from skial), and a lobby server.

That and when the mini tournament was running that thread was long and really needed to be split up into multiple threads. (Recruiting, then map selection, then scheduling, an area for subs looking to play or a place where teams could say they needed subs)

we have a trade section because bottiger has a system for it. he designed skial to be a place to trade. hence the middle man, trade servers, trade forum, and the plugin "!trade"

I think if it would be in a subforum it would be much more hidden... At least now random people might find it.

I'm just saying that if we followed your logic trades would just be in the tf2 section.
I mean, clearly there's already interest in at least the idea of being competitive. :: shrug::

Threads in the competitve sub forum should show up under recent threads.
