Approved Change Name of Anime Section

Its just to change the name of the naime section to something like Animation or soemthing just to broaden the range of things, because i never really know where to put some threads about shows and such and it'd be much easier to Know where it is
This it just to Make it a Bit Simpler

Why is that exactly? People can post tv shows in the general section. They just don't.

I would be on board with a tv section if the subject was actually popular. But it isn't. And changing the name of Anime to something else is stupid when that section is for anime, not anything else.
 
People want to put animated shows that aren't anime, like cartoons, in the Anime section, so they want the name changed to fit that.

If the Anime section is for anime only, where would other types of animated shows go? It seems like it would make more sense to keep the animated shows together in one section rather then having just anime in Anime and other animations in General.

That's my two cents.
 
the general Subforum is Too active and putting discussions and such about animated shows dissapears of the first page too quickly
The anime subforum is much more inactive, and if it's broadened to Animation in general there is much more to talk about in that section and it would be easier to find thread under those discussions
honestly if it were broadened even more to something like Television and shows it would be even better.
there is nothing bad with changing the name of the Anime section and you're acting pretty stupid about it
 
No it isn't. We have threads from two weeks ago still on page 1 of the general section. If it goes to page 2, then that means the subject has died. Not because the section is too active.

I have no problem with changing a section but you guys have nothing to show for it.

You want it for posting tv shows, but there isn't any thread or active threads where people are discussing any tv shows. You want to make a section for something that isn't being talked about.

But people stopped talking about tv shows pretty quickly. Making a separate section for them isn't going to magically make the subject active

well alright but this is still a good idea, and would still make things easier to find, i mean it cant be that hard to change the Name and Description of the anime Section
 
actually, it'd be better to make anime a subforum of animation, it'd definitely expand the horizon.
