Problem solved. cant play Tf2

i don't really know what happened but everytime i try to start tf2 this happens and i don't know how to fix it

Restarting steam helps, but a bug fix would be better.

Yeah, anytime that happens, restart Steam. It's just hl2.exe fucking around in your registry from time to time.

As the error message says by itself there is some kind of a conflict with another software. Check what you have running on a background. Troubleshoot by shutting down all background applications one-by-one until the error is gone.

turns out the software conflicting with HL2.EXE is STEAM.EXE :p
