Declined Can We Borrow the Test Server?

Let me begin by assuring you that I will not blow it up.

We have this test server which is primarily empty. I was wondering if I and/or the other admins could have server rights on there? Just to add a fun place for the regs or admins. Have it be a 6's private lobby for regs, password protected on maps... I was thinking of a 6's or HL format Balloon Race (try it before you bash it) with no-crit no-spread, which we toggle off when we're done.

The thing isn't being used, anyways, and you could just clear us out if you did need to test something.
It's an unused server, and would be like our old comp server. However, it wouldn't matter if it was empty, since it is anyway.

We've got enough regs to actually do this out, now.
I say we could leave it in HL format by default, have 18 slots, 1 of each class per team. Put the password for it in the SUPAR SEKRIT FORIMZ. Make it RTV so we can swap the maps to anything (Custom maps, UGC maps, IDLE TDM?!?!).
 
Also, for those curious about Balloon Race:
Played it yesterday. Was WAY too much spam without class limits, unplayable. But was still awesome.

There are 5 points now and it's a lot better, though.
 
its not an unused server. bottiger uses it to test plugins, crashes, smac, glitches and so on. idk if he would want to give it up.

plus it would be empty after 2 weeks or so. making the work bottiger put into setting it up to nothing.

i personally have no problem with it. im sure you guys will have fun, but i know it will be empty when you guys get tired of it. like the comp server.

It's a sniper-heavy-medic clusterfuck, and it's unplayable as any other class. That's why it sucks balls. It's only good for it's nostalgia value (being one of the first custom maps I played, almost 4 years back) but there has never been any real attempt at balancing it.
 
I don't think you'd want to play on that server with 12 people anyway, it was laggy last time we had around eight people on there. Assuming you're talking about kc1.

Enable full admin commands on there, and you don't know what would happen to it. I know my Lobby team would use it to dick around all the time.

silly. Demos clear points and energy weapons travel THROUGH THE BOATS. EVERYONE GO COWMANGLER.
 
thats what you said about the no crit/no spread server. "my friends and i will keep that server full. i wll play on it all the time" now look where its at. That argument didnt work before, idk why we should believe you now. espcially on a map less popular then nocrits/nospread


i think a better solution is to make a server for all your crazy custom maps. such as zombie fortress, balloon race, and that other thing this guy suggested that had bosses in it. If that is even possible?
