Banned - Nuttyyy - 1 wk - Chatspam and harrassment

There's a demo I recorded a while back but didn't file because it settled down later that night.

Not really much to add. We were doing an all-melee round for the fun of it and then Salttyyy / Nuttyyy came in and began minigunning everyone, then insulted Eva for a few rounds.

They reappeared last night but didn't do much more than change their names a few times and pocket themselves as two medics.

killing people and not following your made up melee rule is not breaking any rules. im going to unban him. because harassing someone isn't breaking a rule. If someone has a problem with it then they can client mute. and the problem is solved.

Edit: i see he was votespamming to ban eva. In that case i will let his ban stay for votespamming.

but making fun of someone and using a minigun is no reason to ban someone.

She told them a few times everyone in the server was only doing melee for the time being, and when it became clear they didn't much care everyone went back to using guns.

Then they started insulting her so they got votemuted, but continued doing it with name-changes.
 
well i am not going to mess with the ban. However juding from the chat, Eve and this guy were going at each other, eve had a mic.The whole banning for being a bully to someone and spamming are bogus. Seeing as how he wasn't really spamming. He was being mean, but we don't ban people for that. When they can easily be ignored.

Eve even said she muted the guy personally, so i do not know why she is getting so worked up over it. Sure a troll is a troll. But we have tons of trolls in skial. should we ban them for saying mean things?

The only reason i am not unbanning him is because he was passing a lot of votes on eve.
 
Dude, yuno talk to banning admin instead of just deciding wither or not someone should be unbanned?
 
I think it isn't officially because it is sometimes difficult to specifically define harassment

I've been under the understanding that only Bott and Roman should be unbanning unless it's been discussed with them first.
