guy abuses votemenu hard, every time it's up he tries to kick/ban/silence me for no reason. i know it's him because he has a death grudge against me (ie. whenever the option arises to ban me for 'Votemenu griefing' he spams something along the lines of "PRESS 4 CUS NOOB HOMO", he also has a pendant for cussing at me for whatever reason).

it's sad because 50% of the time the vote actually passes because people will gladly vote "Yes" because hey, why not? this shit's gotta stop.

i don't have any screenshots, but he certainly started a vote at least 10 to 15 times. you could probably backtrace the chatlog to the amount of times he's done this shit.

and by the way, i was silenced for a majority of my stay on the server; so i couldn't even retort. and i still got votekicks called against me by him, all the while he was pelting insults at me. so i wouldn't count on playing nice, apparently being good at the game warrants some envious votekicks or some shit.

because people think it's funny to randomly try and pass votes for no reason. i've seen people get banned for 30 minutes for being AFK even if they aren't AFK, people like Wujas are just given a seriously flawed system as a toy to play around with, and it works. votes like that pass all the time and it's annoying, this isn't hard to figure out.

edit: Wujas is just one of many, but he's the most prominent one in the last few weeks. i would consider introducing a different system to deal with AFKers, because this current one does nothing to combat them. heck, the entire server had to wait for the two last people alive to kill eachother, but they figured it would be funnier to wait 10 minutes for the new map whilst some guy *cough* decided to waste to !votemenu cooldown on me.

you do realize that a majority of people decided that you needed to be scilenced. it's not like being kicked when there's only a few bystanders that see it.

i'm sorry, i was under the assumption that people start votes for good reasons, and not just because they can be an asshole. do you honestly think that every single vote that gets brought up happens for a just reason? 99% of the time they don't, i've never seen an AFK get kicked; i only see people that actually play the game get kicked for bullshit reasons. i see people who don't talk at all get silenced; i'm pretty sure i got silenced a second time (whilst being silenced to begin with) because people wasted all the other !votemenu options against me already. are you condoning such behavior?

you apparently aren't listening.when a vote for mute/gag is initiated, everyone knows what's up. it's not like someone sitting in spawn where only a few people know that the person is doing it. People obiously thought you were annoying or doing something irritating that they had to mute you otherwise they wouldn't need to. not everyone is stupid to look at it and say yes or no without consulting the problem at hand.

you could pass a vote at any random person for any random reason. i could go into the server right now, issue a vote against someone and call them out for hacking; and there will be more Yes votes than No votes, why you ask? because people can be jerks and get away with it. because the current system allows that, the system isn't abuse proof; people who abuse the system get away with it whilst people that aren't breaking any rules get to eat shit apparently.

it happens all the time i'm on the server at least. especially when Wujas (like i stated above) is online because he makes sure that the !votemenu is in constant use.

i wouldn't argue the severity of the possibility of the system being open for misconduct if i was the only one (and yes, it isn't being used for the reason it's was implemented, unless you people wanted a system that punishes people for no reason with the flip of a coin) that got affected by it, maybe if more people were arsed enough to report this behavior instead of, y'know; flinging skial servers onto their blacklist and find a different server to regularly play on. as opposed to waiting their turn for the 'random-ban-chance'-generator attraction; you people would find out that this system isn't optimal.

pretty much all the time any vote done on the US orange server is a instayes
custom map/modes sometimes have really shitty people who dont give two shits and will just press 4 no matter what

^_^ If it happens again please open the console and take screenshots of the votes that get called.

if it's persistent and you feel like you aren't getting any support from other people in the server go to http://steamcommunity.com/groups/skial-admins to directly contact an admin. Don't worry about taking one out of another game, they know what they were getting into when they took on the responsibilty of admin.

Also, when votes fail the person that calls the vote is subjected to a cool down time before they can use the !votemenu function again than if it is passed.

joined server again, didn't talk to him; get 3 votes against me, two kicks for AFK (both passed), and one vote to ban me for 'voteban racism' which was 1 vote short of banning me for 30 minutes.

not sure what he meant with racism, he called me a 'rusfag' after starting the vote which is deliciously ironic and tragic (not that russians are a race, but i figure Wujas isn't the sharpest tool in the shed).
