Is anyone here going to the midnight release for the consoles? Are you gonna wait a month for the PC version? How are you feeling about the game now that the release date is right around the corner?

I've got the special edition, as I always do for AC, and I'm still a little scared that this might be mediocre like Revelations. Badguy and I are headed out to gamestop (yeah, I know) to pick my copy up tonight. He's also getting the Assassin's Creed Vita package.

I hope this is going to be GOTY.

As to what I am doing.

As much as I want to get it for console cause it comes out earlier, The Digital Deluxe is much better for PC.

I am gunna try to torrent it on PC since some copies are leaked a few days ago (there are already full game walkthroughs on youtube).

I spent the last few days on Assassin creed binges and I just finished replaying the first Assassin Creed game on my xbox.

From what the assassin creed subreddit says, the game did indeed meet and surpass expectations.

yea coming from a bunch of people who love the game any way
But yea it's a pretty sub par game but I guess whatever makes you happy

Also I'm a assuming zebra posted that thread because he wanted to help out those of you who like the game because he's like a super cool guy like that

I don't get how this game is sub-par. It is a phenomenal stealth game in terms of storyline, how immersive it is, how it covers little details, and whatnot.

Did you know, the people you kill(the key targets, anyway) lines up with the death dates of the same people in real life?

it's not that hard to look up dates of people deaths, specially famous people depth of this game comes up to my ankles I guess you could call that deep

I got no problem with people disagreeing with my opinions and disliking games I like.

I do have problems with comments instigating shit on threads they have no purpose in being on.

So get the fuck out.

Point #1 - The stealth in the game is far from phenomenal. It's pretty cut and dry average only one way to kill the major targets in most cases and if you fuck up you can always run around like a boorish drunkard cutting a bloody swathe through people until you find your way out of trouble.

Point #2 - If that's of concern to you that's fine, but most people won't take the time to notice or care about death dates matching up. If they don't it's not the end of the world and it really doesn't detract from the realism that much because if you wanted a realistic game it would be brutally unforgiving and you wouldn't be able to climb buildings like a spider monkey for hours on end. So, dates matching up is more of a minute thing where like 1% of the audience would have a shitstorm if they didnt match up because they have massive erections for history.

Not saying it's a bad game, but it's overhyped in my opinion.

I was not off topic I'm on topic because the poll as an option for both "Meh" and "I don't care about Assassin's creed" so I say that I'm just telling you guys what I think
At least I'm trying to backup why I dislike the game and not just like "this game is dumb and history is hard"

But one of the other reasons I didn't like it was that there was like no challenge it's all to easy it always seem like a dumbed down game if you know what I mean
