About 1 month ago I was spending the night at a friends house. I was instantly banned upon joining my favorite server. I couldn't join that day so I went to another. Ive tried several times at home and the ban remained. I checked the ban and it was permanent, reason: LINKED: New STEAMID from banned IP 68.97.252.31​

EDIT: I see that he used the same username as me. There are millions of users on steam and many of them have the exact same username.

That tr1cha0z account is from the same IP as your current, and is VAC banned for hacking. try explaining your way out of that one when you pretend that you aren't a hacker.

Oh, and the "le username guy" one is also VAC banned.
 
I found proof that le username guy is the same person as tr1cha0z. As for my IP being the same I can not confirm because I was at a friends house when the ban happened.

I actually just realized something. If tr1cha0z is on the same IP as me currently. and I am banned on my friends IP. That means that these two accounts may possibly belong to the friend I am referring to. Are there any other bans associated with the IP? I might be able to figure this out...
 
Sorry but I find it highly unlikely that your 'friend' created an account with the same alias as you and started hacking. You both have the same alias and IP address, that is really something we cannot over look. And they are all connected.

I also doubt your didn't know your friends account. First you tell us you tried playing TF2 at a friends house and then you suddenly don't know who that steam account is? It is possible but i don't buy it.

The friend could have made an alt account. tr1cha0z was not his standard username.
And I understand you for your reasons I will have to accept this ban and play on another server. Thank you for the help anyway.
