Why should you be unbanned or unblocked?:
I get autobanned the moment I join a team because the system says I'm using a proxy. Even after I turn off my proxy, and double check to make sure I'm using my local IP, I reenter and get banned again for using the same proxy as before. I'm not sure what's going on here but something isn't working.

Third time now I've tried to join after closing the proxy and hotspot. Double checked my IP to make sure and I got banned again for using a proxy.

Okay I admit I don't know much about IP addresses but maybe what the system thinks is a proxy is my actual address? 4th time now I've tried to join and I still got banned for the same 'proxy'.

The proxy ban lasts for 10 minutes. So if you tried to reconnect before that ban expired then it would still kick you out.

Maybe you didn't shut off the proxy as you though? It shows you connecting from the same IP.

That's what I thought. I shut off the only two programs I used for a proxy, I mean I opened up Task manager and force closed both of them, reset my wireless and reconnected. I still got banned.

I also connect to a network that connects to the internet. Do you think the system thinks I'm using a proxy because of that?

Well for some reason you connect to the forums on a completely different IP than the one you connect to our game servers with.

You see why I'm so perplexed? I never had this issue with proxies any of the other times I've connected. I'm just trying to get this issue fixed since nothing I do on my end seems to work.

If you werent using a VPN or a Proxy it wouldn't ban you. You are using EGI Hosting to connect to our servers.
