The mute and gag vote by cdawg was a clear abuse of his or her power. First of all, let me start by saying the ban listed online and the ban shown to me in game were completely different: the one in game said it was for 1,440 hours (60 days), while the one online reads only one day. There were more appropriate ways to have handled the situation, and cdawg failed to find one. Considering the vote wasn't even passed, I fail to see how any punishment should have taken place. Votes fail all the time, how was the one I proposed an abuse of power? I appreciate whoever reads this taking the time to do so.​

The 1440 "Hours" is minutes, sorry for any misunderstandings there.

This is CDAWG's appeal, so he gets the final say, but I can tell you that abusing the vote-menu is not tolerated even if the vote fails.
 
You were trying to kill a guy on the server(maybe your friend or not) and being very hostile to everyone on there. While he was playing you started a vote to ban him for being afk even though he was actively playing.

It doesn't matter if you wanted an achievement. The votemenu is not a toy.

Furthermore, I also told you to calm down and warned you to not use the menu but you did.
 
There were better ways of handling it. You over-reacted. Plain and simple. I've seen people get vote muted just because they have higher pitched voices. That is abuse of the vote menu. I only voted him afk because he was staying in spawn, I left the computer for a few minutes, and came back, and he was still in spawn.
 
When you typed !votemenu I told you not to try to ban him because he had done nothing wrong. I said it over mic but you did not listen.
 
We are not required to give warnings. Warnings are up to the discretion of the admin. What CDAWG did was completely in the correct. Enjoy your day unable to talk.
 
Let me guess, you "reserve" the right to expire the mute and gag too. How about you be the better person and do it already? You're late.
