Why should you be unbanned or unblocked?:
Apparently I got banned two days ago. That didn't really bother me since I could still connect to all servers. Only today I started to get blocked.

I'm also 99% sure that I'm not from Romania, have never been to Romania and don't have a Romanian IP adress, so I'd really like to know why I was banned.

Also is it normal for a ban to come into effect only after two full days or did the system have a major hickup?

You connected from your steam account to a skial server from a Romanian IP which is banned for Hacking (Crit Violation). Thus, your steam account was automatically banned for logging in from a banned IP.
You have only connected to skial once from that IP.
It indeed seems like you are not from Romania. Do you / did you ever use a proxy server to login to Skial?

I do have a proxy set up, but that port should've been excluded and it's not a romanian server, plus I don't recall playing at that time. I'll check the config to make sure.
So the two day delay is indeed normal?

That is the only explanation I could see.
And yes, a hiccup could have happened.

The configs "seem" fine but I wanted to rewrite that old gibberish anyway.

Does that mean I'm getting unbanned? There's nothing about a penalty for using a proxy in the rules and I doubt it'll happen again.

We don't allow public proxies and VPNs because hackers can use them. If it gets detected you will be banned for 10 minutes. If your proxy links up with a hackers IP, it will permanently ban you. Thats what happened to you.

Considering it was an accident (if it was my fault anyway, 2 days delay...) ... ah well I'll just use an alt, my ip isn't banned.
