I tried to voteban some Heavy who was spawncamping (literally standing in front of the spawn doors with his minigun revved) and some genius thought it would be a great idea to gag and silence me for 24 hours. I don't have any evidence unless you can actually check when votes take place, I don't exactly record demos of 2Fort pubbing. His name was DOUBLE WEENIE WEDNESDAY or something.

Well "griefing" is, and if you don't consider spawncamping to be griefing then you have more problems than spawncamping Heavies in your servers.
 
I am guessing you havn't bothered to read the rules yet. Go read the rules and tell me where it says "No Griefing".

And your attitude is why you won't be getting unsilenced.
 
Being silenced for 24 hours for trying to get rid of someone griefing the server doesn't exactly put me in a good mood.
 
Well next time don't call votes on people who are not breaking the rules. Then there won't be any problems.
 
How about you take off "griefing" as an option for votebanning someone instead of silencing someone for making the oh-so-outlandish assumption that griefing was against the rules? Or is that too difficult? I'm dying to know.
 
Complain all you want. I am telling you spawn camping is not agaisnt the rules, and trying to ban someone for it is agaisnt the rules.

Also, your silence is three days. Not 1 day. Since this is the second time you have been caught breaking the rules.

I PMed the admin who banned you, if he wants to unsilence you than he can. But based on your attitude I am declining this.

Sorry if I'm not a goody fucking two-shoes about getting silenced for three fucking days, I'm not in the admin ass-kissing business like 99% of the people here.
 
Spawn camping in TF2 has always be under hot debate as to whether or not it falls under griefing. Some communities do consider it griefing and punish people for it while other communities don't. The reason why we don't enforce against spawn camping is because it's easy to counter by building uber in spawn and then pushing out. I can understand your frustration over this since spawn camping is handled inconsistently amongst various communities, but that doesn't give you the excuse to be immature about it in your appeal.
 
Define "immature." Is it acting like someone didn't fuck up when they actually did? Is it acting like a fucking fairy to people who don't deserve it? No one ever answered my question anyway: why the fuck is "griefing" a reason in the !voteban menu when griefing isn't actually against the rules?
 

Sorry for not knowing your definition of griefing, I guess it would be too difficult to actually include the word "griefing" someone in the fucking rules that you people have linked to me any number of times.
