Hi, I've been banned 9/23/16. The ban note says LINKED: New STEAMID from banned IP 202.252.74.155

I'm not sure what all that means but hope you can resolve this. I'm hoping it's a global thing and not me. I've been playing on you servers for several yrs for one of the best ping I can get for my area, and great players. If I did somethig to offend one of the admins or players, I apologize. Please let me know what is the problem. Hope you unban me soon. Thank you very much

Gwor, thanks for your reply. I really have no clue on what is going on. Are you saying that I have a hack on my alternate / secondary weapon in TF2? Is there any way I can check (scan or view code) to fix? I think I only play on secured servers too. Why would I hack on secured servers only to get booted/banned?

Sadness...Like I said before, I would dismiss this and go to another server but I like Skial and have been playing on their servers for quiet some time. They have good ping for the area I'm from. I'd hate to be banned from them. If there is anything else I can do to resolve this. Please let me know. Thanks in advance n game on
 
BTW, I'm not really knowledgeable about forums either. By my Appeal title it says "invalid". Am I in the right place to appeal to be unbanned?

You're in the right place. The invalid tag means the appeal is invalid, meaning as far as we can tell the ban is justified.

To elaborate further on what Gwor is saying there's two other accounts that used your IP address to connect to Skial servers. One of those two accounts was using hacks, got banned for using said hacks which also means the IP address its using was also banned with it.

The two other accounts look like throw away accounts specifically made for hacking purposes.

We're going to assume it was you who was hacking. If it wasn't, then someone else in your household is hacking or has hacked at one point and we need to keep the IP banned because of that to prevent them from returning.
 
Meowcenary, Thank you so much for explaining it so clearly. I do have three accts but I don't know if you can see them but I've created them years ago when I was into farming. I have slowed down on playing TF2 in general but still play on all three (mostly one). They are all my accts and my kids dont even play PC games let alone TF2. I would think if someone hacked my acct. they would take all my items wouldn't they?

Admins, I understand your position. I hate to lose you guys but you gotta do what you gotta do I guess. Would sending my Steam IDs or I think there was some reputation thing for Steam accts help my situation so you can see the accts are not disposable/questionable and have been active for yrs.?
