You were gagged for abusing the votemenu and banning random people.

However, why it is permanent, I don't know. Maybe Zebra made it permanent initially and meant to change it.
 
My last 5 votemenu bans were all for kids spamming the mic so I'm not sure how that is random. A lot of other players can attest to that. However, it is in my nature to curse a lot but I have never votebanned a random person, I've been on this server for half a year now, wouldn't be that stupid to mess around.

The reason of the silence being permanent, for now, is because this is more than the regular vote-abuse which is mostly done by a player seeking revenge on another.

However joining the server with a group large enough to pass votes, and intentionally call votes, is not within the same category. It is Zebra's call, but for now you should reconsider your behavior and think about making changes to the future.
 
That was actually the two of the three 12 year old kids mic spamming that we were able to ban! Sure, I was antagonizing them because I didn't want the third one to keep spamming their mics
 
Actually, we did voteban people who, when there were 10 people in the server, didn't want to melee. I forgot about that. I'll reconsider doing that next time, thanks.
 
I spammed a few lines for a minute at a time, I totally get that's annoying in most situations but when the entire server consists of 10ish people who are all willing to melee only on the tower, I think that's fine. However, when the server is 30+ with 3 kids mic spamming, that's were the difference lies for me. But yeah, I do agree votebanning the one person for not playing along to our melee rules was a form of abuse.
 
You were silenced for calling votes on people and teaming up with your friend to get them banned or silence. It is very clear you did this in your chatlogs.Here is your friend

This is something I will not tolerate on the servers. It is one thing to abuse the votemenu, but it is another to have friends to get votes passed on people who did nothing wrong. You guys seemed to enjoy it.

Not wanting to melee is not against server rules. Just based on your current attitude makes me not regret giving you a permanent silence.
 
Yeah, I probably won't be able to change that attitude. When everyone is having fun and that one kid is spoiling the game, I wouldn't want him to play on the server.
 
Then create your own server with your own rules. But as long as you are playing on our servers, you have to follow our rules.

I think after Zebra's reply I can conclude:
Appeal denied.
