The images are in no particular order, unfortunately I forgot to take screenshots of the vote I called and the leaderboard (to show that I was most definitely not ruining the game). Also I "rage"quit out of the game before I could take note of people's steamIDs, so I provided profile links instead.

For the second time this week, a guy called Roger Moore (http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197998111415) comes into my game (TURBINE 24/7 EU1) and decides that it would be a good idea to start trolling and telling everybody how insane I am for trying to heal him and for trying to practically win the game. I then pull a votemute on him because I am tired of his shit and subsequently get banned for votespamming. I am not sure what kind of evidence he delivered for me to get banned but I am sure he did not tell you entire story. Mind you, this is the second time in a couple of days this has occurred, the other time he got successfully votemuted and left the server afterwards.

There is also a couple of people that would testify that I was doing nothing wrong and that I was muted for no reason at all.

Well..to start off, I was on the server playing (different matter) when I did see when roger moore said in chat "reported annoying medic fuck off". It turned my attention to see what was going on.

Trolling is not against the rules.

For the next several minutes some of the players had been trying to troll roger moore threw chat and healing (also not against the rules).

roger moore did nothing against the rules and no reason for vote.

Here is the link to the rules > https://www.skial.com/threads/server-rules.136/

Here is the links to the demos of the time in 3 parts. The last demo is the time you used vote menu.

Player did not do anything wrong to justify a Vote Mute. Therefore it makes it vote abuse.

I quote, from your attached file of server rules:
Examples are listed, but they are not the only things you can be banned for.
  • Spamming. Examples:
    • Advertising other TF2 servers.
    • Reporting people that aren't breaking the rules.

You are ignoring the fact that he "reported me" for "spoiling the game". Given that I was near-topscoring and had successfully pushed multiple Ubers to the intel, I was most definitely not "spoiling the game". If he had reported me for "spoiling the game", he was reporting a player that was not breaking the rules. This is most definitely against the rules.

Also; "player did not do anything wrong to justify a vote mute" is an awfully subjective conclusion. I'm assuming you're referring to the "Calling random votes" rule and I assure you, this vote was called only after I was assured there would be enough disdain for said player on both teams for the probability of the vote passing to be credible. The vote lost 5 points short, which is, in many people's eyes, not a decisive victory. If a person has been annoying a substantial amount of people for a substantial amount of time I definitely would not call it a "random" vote which does not my action "abuse" of the voting system.

Furthermore; is it commonplace that the person who issued the mute also roams the forums to review mute appeals? In Dutch we call a situation like this "A butcher qualifying his own meats", meaning that one cannot objectively assess a situation he has created himself.

So if I understand this correctly, if a vote passes, the people on the server have enough dislike for the person to be muted. But if the vote does not pass, it's not counted as "gauging" the dislike for this person but rather directly as "abuse"? Seems rather crude to me.

I am sorry, I am unaware of any such reports. Not on Skial forums or reported to me. I just happened to be on the server on another matter when this took place as in the demos.

This is why you voted. look below.

We do not ban because "we do not like" someone.

I welcome any of the others admins to weigh on this.

going by his chatlogs, he never once used the /report command. though if he actually made half the reports he claimed to make in one day, he'd have been permamuted long ago for report abuse, as he's claimed to have reported players for "being annoying", "being a kid", and speaking other languages such as French and Russian
