Hi.I recently got muted for a week. I only noticed it a few minutes ago when I was trying to find help on Skial forums. So this is what the story goes...
Me and a friend Have used the voting system to slay or mute each other (usually the rest of the server is in on the joke and they vote yes)
But this time after a few unsuccessful attempts to mute my friend he voted for me to be muted which was successful. Ok, that sucks I wait half an hour and still nothing an hour passes by and I'm still not unmuted so I don't think much of it I leave the server and go do something else...
A few hours pass by and I join the game and I am still muted so I go to the skill forums (thinking its a glitch because its been 4 hours since the vote mute) to file a com block appeal and while searching for the link I see that I'm banned for 1 week by admin Dave. So here I am.
Ok now the apology part: I genuinly am realizing now how damaging vote abuse can be and how stupid i was for using it in a way to joke around with my friend. ITS A TOOL NOT A TOY and I understand that now.
I WILL NOT USE THE VOTE SYSTEM AGAIN FOR ANYTHING THAN GENUINE USE CASES.
I apologize to Dave for this situation which has taken time from us both and for the time it will take to read this appeal and make a decision about it.
I do have some screenshots of me joking around with friends about the voting system and I'm sure the chat history can be checked though I don't think its necessary because I already admitted of being guilty of vote abuse.
I am really sorry I did it and I won't abuse the voting system again!
I hope that you accept this apology and take my promise that I won't do it again!
Ps. If you prefer I don't have a problem with you taking away my voice chat ability and voting ability but please enable the chat for me! It would really mean a lot! Again sorry for vote abusing and bye!
