Why should you be unbanned or unblocked?:
I wasn't intentionally trying to spam, I was just busy in my gameplay that I didn't know that I was pasting my sales so much, though, it wasn't like constantly every second, a minimum of 30 seconds was my leastest time differential. Afterwards, I stopped for a while, but then Astir comes and mutes me for 3 days. I feel like this is unjust, and would like to be unmuted, my "spam" didn't affect anybody either, I had some interested traders, and no one complained, I kept it cool and normal. DIdn't mean to spam if it seemed like it, I was trying to be a salesman, that's all. I was using mic and chat, but not in a way of spamming it every secomd. You know what I mean? Well, I hope I get unmuted, and thanks guys for reading this! - bladey

As a general rule, any serious trading is supposed to take place on the trade server. That's why Skial has trading servers. When you "spam" messages like this it doesn't provide useful information to others playing and to a certain extent is detrimental as it can get really distracting. The point that you had items for trade was made the first time you posted in chat, repeating the exact same thing 11 times in 25 minutes is excessive. While the definition of "spamming" isn't crystal clear, the general parameters are. If you're posting something in chat that is frequent and a nuisance to other players and doesn't actually help those playing, it's considered spamming. Myself, and many other players I know and have seen get quite frustrated when someone is doing this. We saw it the first time, doing it again in 30 seconds doesn't accomplish anything, except for distracting us and clogging up the chat. Especially if you're also negotiating in the chat window, add the player and do it through IM. If we want to trade, we'll contact you, we don't need constant reminders while we're attempting to play. We came to play, not get hit with ads.

If you're wondering why it's for three days, it's because you already had one ban on record. Admins have a progressive ban length system to discourage players from continuing to break the rules. Hopefully this helps you understand what happened and how to avoid it in the future. As far as I know it's alright to advertise occasionally, but if you're doing more trading than playing on an actual game server you should consider going to the trade server or leaving the one you're on so you aren't interfering with others too badly.

Well since Astir has yet to reply i guess i will take care of this...

I would hardly consider that spamming. If anything i would consider that very light spamming. It only went on for four minutes for a total of eight messages.

In the future I would suggest using trade servers. If you don't want to, I would like to say a good guideline is to post a trade every other minute. Obviously if no one is trading with you after a few minutes you should stop for a while. Pick back up in a hour or so.

The main point i am trying to make is to watch how fast you are typing that bind or whatever it is.

You have been unbanned. Please don't do it again brah. Keep in mind the next time you think about doing this the punishment will be one week instead of three days.
