Yes it is, play on the map you desire and have full control of the bots. Make them run, jump, stand still or attack. The maps designed for this the bots usually just run

So you want him to make his own map and make the bots fuction the way he wants them to. Which would take a long time to actually learn how to do.

Yeah thats a nice map. I agree and it can help a lot. But spawning bots on a normal map to can help also where you are in an environment you usually fight in.

The only problem is bots don't behave the way human players do. Which is why i never went to a practice map. I just feel its more efficient to play against players and practice that behavior than to practice on bots.

it doesnt matter if the people you're facing are completely new
facing real people is ALWAYS better than facing bots

there's a difference between being paranoid and being stupid.
fist off, gamebanana is a trusted site.
secondly, maps come in the form of .bsp files, which are not executables.
You can just scan the contents if you still want to check.
