Thanks alot! @VulcanHephaestus @Phasma @NawNaw @Jamesm96
+1 what an amazing guy this is he's the friendliest, most experienced, skilled and best person for the job innit xox
We're on page 4, let's ask some questions.
I come into the server and start playing music on the mic, what do you do? Use my Steam3ID if punishment is required.
Static is playing sniper and is dominating the entire enemy team, including their Medic, ly_dee. Ly_dee then says "If I get headshot one more time by this same stinkin' sniper, ima DDoS this shindig!". Use ly_dee's steam3ID should punishment be required.
Since playing music through the microphone is generally left to a server vote to decide whether or not it is mic spam I would have to simply do nothing. If a vote to mute the individual was made and someone had a problem with it I would have to explain to them the rule however.
To begin with Static is not doing anything wrong he is simply playing the game although one sniper dominating the entire team does seem a bit odd so I would probably spectate him just to be sure that there are no hacks being used. Ly_dee however is breaking quite a severe rule by threatening to DDoS a Skial server (I'm assuming shindig refers to the server) meaning that I would have to ban her for at least a week due to the severity of her rule broken, however if she were to actually DDoS the Skial server and there was proof that she did she would have to be permanently banned but since we are assuming she is only threatening that is not necessary.
Thus the command I would use would be:
sm_ban "#[U:1:114691004]" 10080 "Threatening to DDoS a Skial server"
Fine answers, just a heads up that DDoS threats are something we permanently ban for, you wouldn't know that though.
Late to the party but +1
Played with him quite a bit in idle and he's very cool and seems experienced and level headed.
Would love to see him branch out to more servers though just because he's a great guy to play with
Thanks for the kind words Kael, much appreciated.
+1, I have known Xerox for a long time, he is a valuable member especially to have on an administration team with his dedication, knowledge and willingness to learn, not only that when he makes a mistake he would rather admit a mistake than lie his way around.
