I would say no. I was on hightower last night and had to silence you gamemaster because of votemenu abuse.

You got a -flux D:

While most immaturity gets lots of leeway, I think I'd have to -1 due to the URL spamming.
All in all, best of luck with everything! c:

We do not care if players and admins have fun on a server. Why would we?

However there is a difference in having fun while playing the game and spamming.

Take a look at our server rules.
http://www.skial.com/threads/server-rules.136/

It clearly states no spamming. The Hightower is not an exception just because the regulars think it is. Regulars get temporary banned/silenced all the time because they do not understand this. They do not run the servers and are not exempt from the rules.

Now you just recently got silenced for votemenu abuse

I am going to be nice and simply mark this app as improve instead of declined. Since you are not a known trouble maker i see no reason in declining it. You only been silenced once. Feel free to re-apply in the future when you have improved your behavior. I say wait at least a month or two.

As for the spamming, I see no point in silencing you for it now. I can simply give you a warning right here. If I see you continue to spam more, you will be re-silenced. If you get re-silenced again your chances of getting admin will be low.

Also, next time you reapply, fix your answer to the ban question. It is wrong.

If an admin acts like an admin, people will know. If an admin acts like a player, no one will know. Being able to hide in plain sight is the best way to catch hackers.
The majority of Skial regular know who the admins are. The majority of Skial admins have A LOT of skial regulars on their friends list. The majority of skial regulars are quick to report hackers and/or call an admin to resolve an issue. In my opinion, an admin can be relaxed but they aren't going to participate in a spam fest with you.

I have 1 thing to say to you all. You ALL (Execpt hooplah523) need to make serious life changes. You are living in a virtual world and you all are taking things way to seriously. None of you are getting paid to do this, take on a real job and see how unimportant a game really is.

There is no need to be upset.

I don't think this will really help your application.
But good luck either way.

Considering there's a large number of servers that cost a lot of money to maintain having bad admins run players off those servers would ultimately mean less donations, less players playing on the servers which also means less revenue from ads to help keep the servers running.

It may seem trivial to you but good admins are more important than you think.

Philosophically speaking, TF2 is a very bad game, but a lot of people still have fun with it, with that in mind, to have fun with a game, you'd have to follow specific rules, and I'm not talking about just the games' rules, I'm talking about the rules of a server to make a community friendly and heartfelt. With that said, server rules are just as important as the rules of the game itself. Some people do in fact take the internet/video games seriously, such as myself, because we don't want our guilty pleasures to become unpleasant... sorta.
