Well I'm sorry you feel that way. I feel that if you take the time and effort to type something to me, the least I can do is reward that with a clear, well thought out, and thorough response that leaves any possible future questions or concerns addressed so as to minimize a long back-and-forth conversation. But since you don't value your time and effort very highly, I shall not either and simply say this: haters gonna hate, you may now return to the cave or bridge from which you came.

Was going to add a "0" because I haven't played much with you recently enough to say yay or nay. However I have now changed it to "-1" due to the fact you called a Skial forum admin a troll, and that's not okay.
I think we may have had a bit of a misunderstanding and gotten off on the wrong foot. Allow me one of my "long winded" explanations and we'll see if we can sort this out.
This situation is exactly what I try to avoid by having fully coherent and well thought out responses, even if you don't care for them and deem them "long winded." So let us start by looking at what you initially told me:
Now on the surface, having no interactions with me actually in a server (at least that I can recall), you chose to -1 my application purely on my writing style; that seems a bit trollish to me. If I might give you some constructive criticism: if you add a reason why I should not need to fully justify myself or a suggestion as to how I can improve my writing style, that takes the glossy trollish veneer off and shows the sincerity below the surface. Also, it is hard for my mind to not jump to "troll" when your signature is the "Excited Troll." I believe that covers your initial post and also the followup "Fuck you, I'm not trolling."
Now then to the second part of our misunderstanding: in your initial post all you said was that "it seems that you feel you have to justify yourself with a long winded explanation." This does not tell me much; I do not know if you hung on my every word, if you merely skimmed, or if you just saw a wall of text and thought "what a long winded blowhard." So what I am "on about" is I have no way to gauge how much time and effort you have invested in this thread or my responses. It would be a trivial amount of effort to open the thread, scroll through and see any of my long posts, and quickly reply in the manner that you did. Some more constructive criticism that I might offer, and this is purely to avoid miscommunications, is to make sure you indicate somehow that you actually read everything. Just a simple phrase like "I've read through this thread and all your posts" or "I've read your replies and had time to think about them." The more you can remove uncertainties, the easier the lines of communication are.
So with all that said, I do sincerely apologize for our misunderstanding and would like to start again.
In reference to your -1 for my long windedness, I can not see how that is a bad quality for an admin to have. An admin that can fully think through and completely justify their actions, to me at least, is both less likely to abuse power out of an emotionally heated situation as well as more likely to provide an impenetrable defense against any appeals that might arise. Now if you would like to give me constructive criticism and elaborate on why this quality I possess is worthy of a "-1," I would welcome it with open arms.
Again I do apologize Maddo for this situation we find ourselves in, it is hard to determine who is sincere and who is a troll when all you have is text, no intonation of voice or body language to read. I don't come here to make enemies and I of course bear no ill will towards you. Thank you for taking the time to actually read through this thread (not just skim or completely skip around). I assume it was about two full pages at the time even though it has gone over to three now so I know it was no small effort.
Doom, I don't care if he's a game admin, forum admin, Bottiger, Gabe Newell, or the President of the United States. Everyone is human, nobody is infallible, and everyone is potentially a troll. I have never had any sort of interaction with Maddo and so at first blush his post seemed a bit trollish. Just because you are a forum admin doesn't mean you can't be a dick or a troll.

Haha after reading pages and pages of appeals I completely understand. I didn't say you had to justify yourself to them but maybe other admins if some action ever came under question :grinning:
