Will you get mad if you lose admin?:
Nope, if I lose it I obviously did something wrong. My support for Skial will not change.
How do you ban your own SteamID?:
sm_ban "#[U:1:2611925]" 30 "obvious aimbot"
Any other reason you should be admin:
I've had multitudes of people say I should apply for admin. I used to do Dustbowl TX until for unknown reasons that became a ghost town and then it became a fast respawn server, now I mainly live on Dustbowl+ LA. At the times I'm on it's basically the wild west. Gate spammers (small percentage), mic spammers, spawn campers, troll engies, and any number of people saying racist, sexist, spammy things in chat/on mic. I try to do my part and report the people taking it to the extreme, but others are in small bursts and it's hard to catch them in a demo. I'd love the opportunity to be an admin and make a bit of a difference and I'm open to visiting servers I don't usually as I'm ready to branch out of Dustbowl. If I am deemed unworthy that's OK, I'll continue to play and report as usual.

As an aside I did admin for several Battlefield 2142 and Heroes servers in my former clan, the paperwork was tedious but it was worth it. It would be a nice change of pace to not have to do any sort of forms except for hackers.

I play on Dustbowl+ LA all the time with Fenix. I've known him for a while and he's an upstanding member or both the Skial and TF2 communities. I've never witnessed him doing anything against the rules, he's a great player and a really nice guy.
I'd just like to add that I really like playing on DB+ but the amount of trolls is insane. DB+ needs an admin and I think Fenix would be the perfect guy for the job.

+rep fenix got the report game on lock in dbla, plus we never have an admin who usually plays in the server(one may come around every blue moon or someones calls for an admin ). Would be gr8 if we had an admin around more often.

You seem to love to spam the vote menu. And you reported some one for cyber bullying. Thats not breaking the rules. And not all mic spam will be considered spam by some admins. Alot of admins will look over mic spam if the server does not care. If you're the only one who does that client mute him.

You also seem very friendly. I'll just quote a few things you have said, and this is a few seconds of reading.

h4wk go into your console and type "status" NOTHING IS FUCKING MASKED, EVERYONE'S UUID IS RIGHT THERE DIPSHIT

I'm sorry I didn't see the scout since I WAS AIRBLASTING THEIR UBER BACK INTO THEIR SPAWN YOU INCOMPETENT FUCK

There might be more, I'm not gunna form my opinion yet but Id just like to bring this stuff up I do feel the text is minor, but other people might not.

Yeah those may not have been my best moments, just responding to one of those people who thinks when not every single thing goes their way that the whole team is shit. The airblasting comment was in regards to someone on mic who was berating the whole team for not protecting his stuff calling them incompetent fucks, so I just pointed out how we were doing our part, in his vernacular. I admit it probably wasn't the best way to handle it, but I had just reached my point where all his mic spam putdowns were getting the whole team down and something had to be done. H4WK on the other hand, well that was a spammer I unfortunately didn't catch. He's on my watch list though.

Those examples are actually pretty rare and I know if I was to ever make admin I'd be representing Skial and I'd definitely restrain myself more. Nothing gets to a troll more than when someone is calm and collected, right? :)

As to the vote menu spam, while it may not *all* be totally warranted, it is usually warranted for the most part as DB+ LA is the wild west in terms of Skial servers. Mic spammers, chat spammers, trolls, people who stand in front of snipers, people who do the new russian taunt in spawn all round, etc... I do try to vote a lot as many votes aren't passed by only a small percentage. Some people just want to watch the world burn, or be a mini-troll by voting "no" on a vote that should obviously be "yes." There are so many votes I start that people get on mic saying "vote yes" "why aren't you people voting yes" etc... Like I said, some people troll just by voting "no" and nothing else.

Crow, in regards to your concern that I reported someone for cyber bullying: while that isn't a concern at the moment, and I understand there's always a fair amount of trash talking on the internet, this was above and beyond anything I have ever heard. I do intend to bring that to the suggestions forums, as things *can* be taken too far, just look at news reports of kids who have committed suicide because they were being harassed by a cyber bully. Yes it is the internet, yes you should have a thick skin, but people do take it too far and words *can* hurt. Just because you hide behind a monitor doesn't mean it doesn't affect people. I don't think Skial would want that kind of environment in their servers. If I had not been a regular and known how good Skial servers are normally, I probably would have left and never returned in this instance. I am by no means trying to make any excuses, but this isn't a competitive server, people come to relax and have fun, and I just want to help keep it that way.

I'll probably be catching 40 winks here soon but please bring any concerns to this post, I have nothing but Skial's best interests in mind and I will respond as soon as I can.

As a long-time regular of LA DB+, Fenix is the type of person I want as an admin. His genuine devotion to the server makes him an exemplary player.
I also second Fenix's description of how the vote typically play out. Several people vote no even when hackers or trolls are blatant. While I don't think spamming votes ends in results, neither does the current voting system. Having an admin that frequents the server is the simplest and best solution.

+0 for what crow said, I'll +1 when more people will arrive, that you know, who can offer their word.

If that means server muting me, fuck no. -1

Client muting exists for a reason.

+0 for now based on your admin application. I've played on that server for 3+ years and I don't think there is an abundant number of trolls. It's a 32 player dust bowl server, so things get chaotic but that's the nature of the game. Remember that A lot of new players come through DBLA that are learning the ropes, doesn't mean they're trolls. As far as spawn camping or other issues that you mention, I don't believe they're bannable offenses. Unless someone is completely briefing.

Also, the issue with DBLA are the blatant hackers. Can you provide examples of cheaters that you reported on Skial? Which obvious hackers are currently regulars on DBLA? a lot of the regulars are friends with current admins and personally I haven't found it difficult to msg an admin to go into the server to observe suspected cheaters. The current admins are very responsive.

Felix seems like a nice guy, so I hope further Q&A for and from him will give me a better understanding for the need of a perm admin on DBLA.

I have played with Sexy Fenix for a while now and when I play with him he usually keeps to himself. His "worst moments" as referenced by others here are not the norm by far, but he does have a playful, witty, and sarcastic side. As well, improper language and badmouthing are not against the rules and I have seen some skial admins partaking in that as well.

Fenix does not have an abusive personality and although he came out swinging with what he considers to be offenses, he made excellent points for offensive behavior and there is always time to adapt to the rules of the server as an admin which I have no doubt in my mind that he could with ease.

The private profile can be removed at any time; I fail to see it's relevancy given that looking upon his profile yields no black marks/ no VAC bans.

+1, Fenix is a great guy. I have played with him on my occasions. He is funny, smart guy, and is fare to all players.
If a conversation gets out of hand he respectfully brings the conversation back to an appropriate tone. I feel he would do a great job as admin.

I've stuck up for him ages ago and will again. He's got a much better demeanor than his chatlogs imply; he's been beyond friendly to people for as long as I've played with him, which is going on just about three and a half years now. I've taken reports occasionally from him through Steam and he seems to have a very good grasp of the rules, this last one notwithstanding. Hopefully he'll get far enough to demonstrate that through Q&A.

Oh and +1.
