So as you may have seen I did remove my last application because I had lost interest in TF2. My interest in the game has been rekindled and joining the trade server after my absence, it quickly became apparent to me that I could make a change on the server and stop the players who misuse the mic or votes. I would like to restate I do not think of myself to be above any other player. I'm well aware of my mistakes I've made in the past calling others offensive names like "fag" and have corrected this issue. I have been in the Skial community for well over a year and I plan on staying with it this time. I'm well known on the trade server and know the basics of trading. I've been staff on many servers before including Minecraft and GarrysMod. My goal as admin on the New York Trade Server will be to keep peace between all the players and improve the community. +1. Although, I hope you know that administrating Minecraft and GarrysMod servers is very different from doing so on TF2 servers. But good luck on your application. Great ban/commban history too ;D!

Edit:
ALSO! It is very mandatory that you spend some time on forums occasionally. It is a very essential job of an admin. This is the first time I've seen you on forums so work on that a little.

Haha yeah what you said about the Minecraft and GarrysMod servers is very true. I will do my best to be as active on the forums as possible. Thanks for the post.

super friendly and mature. i see him all the time on Trade | NY, and even though i'm not exactly a regular there anymore, every time i get on, he's there; standing up for people and helping others~
 
iv known ardy a while and I know he enforces the rules he's on a lot and has no problem with telling people what there doing wrong I have never seen him mad no matter what the other person says I +1 ardy because he's honest and would make a great admin

You applied for admin back in January, withdrew March 20th and re-applied April 20th, why is that? I don't want to vouch for someone who won't stick with what they want to do because that's not how it works, Skial wants admins that are dedicated or can provide some benefit towards this community.

It's not required to be acttive on the forums, your application yes, the entire forum? No. If it's in regards to reports, Skial has several admins who can take reports, if you're effective on the server then that doesn't matter.

Hello Sargent. It was just a coincidence that I withdrew on a 20th and re-applied on a 20th. But as stated in my paragraph above, I had begun to lose interest in TF2 and got busy with school. I launched tf2 and joined Skial a week or two ago and my interest was rekindled. I had planned on just playing the game and enjoying myself but I constantly ran into players on the trade server I'm applying for breaking all sorts of rules and in my opinion making the community look bad. I then decided that I would apply for admin to try to help and improve the community again. I plan on devoting all of my game time to Skial and would like a chance to help administrate on the trade server. I hope this cleared up any confusions/misconceptions. Thanks and have a good day.

Sounds good. My reason for applying back in January was because I had been active for a long period of time, and felt qualified and able to help the server. My reason for withdrawing on March 20th was because I saw my activeness on Skial starting to lower, my interest in TF2 start to die out, and on my previous application listed here: https://www.skial.com/threads/admin-app-ardy.56551/page-2 Bo$$ stated that consistent playtime is important, and seeing as how I was not being consistent, I did not feel I deserved the position after being away for quite some time. My reason for re-applying yesterday, March 20th, is because I had been joining the server and consistently saw fellow players breaking the rules. I am ready to make the commitment to Skial and have an active playtime while also doing my best to be active on the forums regardless of it being required or not. If you have any further questions that may have arisen or any concerns about why I applied/withdrew/reapplied please don't hesitate to ask as I will gladly respond to the best of my ability. I really do feel as if I can make a difference in the community and help the trade server out. I'm sorry if both of my posts were lengthy, but I wanted to show that I have reasons for what I did and I wanted to be as thorough as possible so that I don't cause any confusion. Sargenty is wrong. You need to be active on the forums to do reports, that is any admins main responbililty. There is no requirement to be on the servers as long as you handle reports. though I do personally prefer if you were active on both.

Apologies again for the misleading information. Since this application has been put into reviewing, I'll ask some questions.
  1. You enter trade and I begin to spam your Facebook page in chat, how do you proceed?
  2. I then change my name to your Facebook page, how do you proceed?

1. Well, since both spam and posting others personal and private information without consent is against the rules, I would proceed to gag you using sm_gag "#[U:1:106005514]" 0

2. Changing your name to my Facebook page is also posting others personal and private information and refusing to listen to what a staff member says.. I would then ban you using sm_ban "#[U:1:106005514]" 0 "Posting personal and private information without consent" because of your multiple offenses and refusing to listen.

The command for scenario 1 won't prevent the person from using chat.
