Account creation/linking via Steam​

Details:

When I tried registering by signing in with steam the first time I got this error:

I tried multiple times with the same result, so I just registered normally then proceeded to try and link Steam in the account settings. I didn't get an error, but I'm not sure if it worked as I didn't get confirmation either. All I saw before and after is a broken image.
