  • Warden should be the only one who can open the cells (but they still open after a certain amount of time, of course).
    • Because a scout will run out immediately, press the button, and run away while the warden is typing. Then the prisoners will go "FREEDAY" and run about, so when the warden gives his commands it is very hard to control the prisoners. (Added by Phaiz) If added, make the time until the door open longer.
  • When the warden dies, there should be a "Next in Command" instead of freeday.
    • Constant freedays are annoying, long, and pointless. Either the prisoners delay the round horribly or the guards start mass freekilling.
  • Add /jbrules (a more detailed rules list) *APPROVED*
    • Since they're only 3 rules for each team, people tend to find loop holes a lot. Even though we know the rules, the regulars don't. People still come on saying "THAT'S BAITING" or saying "you didn't say no detour or delay!"
  • (Added by Dave) Remove first blood crits.
    • Just makes freekilling easier, no reason to have it.

    • It's just useless spam, that makes orders go off the screen faster.
  • Make it to where freedays can only be issued through LR's.
    • It isn't fair when the warden gives his friend freeday with armory because he is his friend.
  • Nerf the heavy's show down taunt kill. *APPROVED*
    • Instant kills any guard, is silent, and has an absurd range.
  • Nerf self damage weapons.
    • As a soldier/demoman, you can kill your team (As warden) easily with your explosive weapons.
    • As a scout, the boston basher has no downside, and the atomizer does not do damage on 3rd jump.
    • No explosive jumping.
  • Mods should have /beacon
    • When an admin plays, they always beacon the freedayers. Why can't mods do this?
  • Make the Deathrun door not do damage, but pushes you.Guards and prisoners abuse this to kill people.
    • Prisoners will just spam the buttons to kill other prisoners while going in.
    • Guards will wait for people to be all in and ready, then open it, then close it. As long as crush game is not on they will get pushed under the door, then killed.
  • Make it to you can't manually switch teams.
    • Switching teams gives you the ability to exploit.
    • Just make it to where when you join it switches you to RED, then you can only be on RED until you get to the point of the que where you can be BLU, and then you stay on BLU until either you type /q or your warden turn is over.
  • Remove Demoman and Soldier from playing on BLU
    • Causes too many accidental freekills. Explosive weapons don't self damage also.
  • Remove the atomizer
    • Does no damage, and makes it really easy to escape immediatley on minecart.
  • (Added by Avenger and Dave) Make simon says an invalid order
    • It is too confusing for people, as in the warden will say "Go to pool". People don't go because he does not say "Simon says go to pool" But then idiot guard #1 comes up and kills everyone for not following orders and going to the pool.
  • (Added by Cube and Grima) Add "Ghosting" and "Freekill" to the votemenu list
    • It will be easier for mods/admins to moderate with more detailed jailbreak specific report reasons

    • I've seen plenty of bad wardens have 5 people die at once because they weren't paying attention.

    • Something only the warden can press, so collisions can turn on/off with out wasting crush game.

    • It's all opinion, and is usually just "Let me kill people who aren't my friends" For example, in hat day, if you have an unusual team captain you could be killed, while the guy with the gibus lives. Because the guy with the gibus is the warden's friend.

Read his suggestion again. He is saying to give moderators the power to automatically force votes to go through, regardless of the amount of yes/no answers.

I thought he meant that we have to tell people to vote yes with /dsay or something..
 
There's always one person easy to kill, but the Widowmaker gives you infinite ammo when you kill the skrub
I can end the round in thirty seconds with Widowmaker+Southern Hospitality
 
I would also like to make a suggestion.

(If Possible) Can the guards/warden be able to see the health level of the prisoners (when looking directly at them)? This can help with deciding what prisoners actually needs to go to medic.

I don't think this would be the best idea. It'd make freehitting more of an issue, "because that heavy was at full health and it doesn't matter"
Additionally, spies and solemn vow medics can see this anyways, and heavies can check by throwing a sandvich.
Prisoners have very few tricks they can actually use to throw the guards off-guard aside from acts of rebellion and exploiting some non-existent loophole in orders. Being able to lie to the guards and redirect attention is something prisoners should be able to do imo. It's within the spirit of the gamemode, is it not?

No. Freehitting is not allowed. You can't hit prisoners for no reason. Otherwise you can all hit them before doing obstacle course and then "see who can pass the sentry" .. Freehitting is not allowed and neither is freekilling.

if someone goes to medic with full health when the order is "all those with health lost can go to medic"

they can be killed if they have full health.. and "freekiller" is used alot anyways so..


I hope the voicecommands get's out soonish, cuz it's really annoying and not needed on JB
 
and let me say, now they ask for medic while they don't need it and warden is too good to allow them while you don't need it for DR and thats how a round gets screwed up by making them able to delay and rebel..
and we need a rule on "don't go to medic if you aren't allowed by warden, they can kill you for it"
"warningshots aren't a must, they can kill you the moment you dissobei"

slayvote against warden for freeday, i don't give them a warning for abusing that vote-menu for that reason, instantly reporting.. it's griefing the game
 
Please don't give warden the ability to see hp, it's just going to cause headache and even more arbitrary rules.

Just throwing the ball out there but Drum has a point, the Warden could be a dick and see some one has low health, and just sick a guard on him to kill that person. Then some one also might say, "If you have health below 50, you will be shot and killed." Or something dumb like that. I don't play JB but judging by how many reports come in from it, it seems to be crazy.

The thing is, that is free kill. But once I get home I am removing it from the list.
 
Giving out orders like that gets you banned for freekilling.

You cant order to get people killed for low health, something in his/her name, which class they play, the colour of their has, no hats, ... .

They try to make up things already that arent mentioned in the rules and they take our words cuz we are just moderators.

Maybe time i get allowed to make a clear and strictet rulelist for jailbreak with seth and avenger (he plays there alot too so knows things we might have overlooked)? So they are done with freekilling and getting away with it since its a notlisted rule.
 
Actually, they could do something like "Anyone with full health goes to minefield" because that isn't free kill.
