(I already reported it on Steamrep, but considering Steamrep is overloaded and this case is hapenning in your servers and considered as huge scam possibility, i prefered to post it here too in case you ban him from all skial server if you agree that scam attempt so that could maybe help meanwhile he get banned on Steamrep or by VALVe.

He MAY have alt, so maybe Skial or Steamrep could verify this, that would be appreciated, I’ll send a report to VALVe too.

Victim: Me (Despite not being scammed because of my vigilance.)


So I was in Skial trade server, seeing someone trading a strange Sapper in chat, (Yeah, quite rare and I didn’t needed it but was a huge possibility of scam so I requested a trade with him.


There’s was 2 trades attempt, one whjo was screenshotted wrongly, fail to me not noticing steam screenshot don’t take the overlay, then I attempted to retrade him using FRAPS, so I managed to get screenshot.


I don’t consider this as sharking because it’s not a misrepresentation attempt toward the value or the item, it’s obviously a scam. Think what you think but it’s an obvious scam attempt.

He also claimed to have purchased from someone last day, which tf2items show no history of it.

The only thing I see is someone overpricing a renamed sapper that isn't strange for high value items. I would count that as a scam.

It seems like he fell for the renamed sapper trick (check the color of the sapper)

I meant his own items on the other acc
like buds, max etc
since this type of people scared of being reported to Steam Support and being trade banned, so they won't be able to push their high tier stuff anymore.
