I thought I would be out of hospital today but the docs say not happening. I have had my 2nd heart attack this year and it was a bad one. I was outside playing with my new puppy and son and it happened. I hope I can get out to at least give my present to my person in the secret santa as I might never be able to play again I will not need the present in return. I am sorry for not being able to fill my obligation in this but cannot get to my steam account from here. I am sorry for this and hope to make it right as I am new here to Skial. Hope to be able to return to TF2 but hope to just get out of hospital at this time. Thank you all and thoughts and prayers to all for the Holiday Season.

Psh, silly, you had a heart attack and are worrying about internet fucks? Don't sweat it man. You may be a person that sticks to their word, but some things are too important. I don't think anyone is going to judge you for not participating in Secret Santa because you have heart problems. Actually, if they do judge you, I'll stomp their trachea in. I'm sure others will join me.
 
i think irl obligations like HEALTH are more important than some ones gift being delayed but its good that u care about it :)
 
All I can say is THANK YOU! The response and kind words have made me feel better. I am lucky to have friends who have never met me say this. I am thankful. Hope to be back soon as no play is no fun.

Man, I hope you get on the road to a fast recovery! I will pitch in with howimetyourmother to help with the secret santa gift if you are not home in time.
 
Deadfront, dont worry about anything but yourself and your family. Hope you are out of hospital and up and about asap and have a smashing xmas with your son.
 
Yeah mate i dont know if you are aware, but your wellbeing is worth more than a 2+ref gift to a forum member. Its honorable that you still care deeply for the community and all that, but your family and sontl take priority. Stop worrying about us,and for anything for that matter. You had a heartattack, you shouldnt worry or be stressed. Just get better mate.
 
Your health is much more important than a silly video game. Make sure you're fully recovered and don't feel obligated to come back soon if you're not feeling well. Wish you the best!

You are most likely still in the OR as I write this, when you see this reply you should have a new lease of life.
Heart surgery is really advanced nowadays, and the vast majority of people who have had it live as long, if not longer than those who have not. I really feel for you, but I am confident you will be fine.
Hope that your fear doesnt rub off onto your kid, but from my experience kids are stronger than us adults, and can be a support for us when we least expect it, often helping us through difficult times.
Btw, how old are you and how old is your son?
