  • Updated the backpack icons for the Director's Vision, Meet the Medic, Schadenfreude, High Five! and Shred Alert taunts.
  • Added a prompt above players in the High Five! taunt pose.
  • Taunts that were push-to-hold are now toggles. Pressing the action key once will let the player hold their pose until the action key is pressed again
  • Moved the Director's Vision from the Action slot to the currently unused Taunt slot.
  • Fixed Spy's revolvers not using the Spy's hand in reload animations.
  • Bread props now sometimes spawn when using a Teleporter.

So, now with this update, we have two Engineer buffs, one of which is broken, from an idea that Robin Walker himself determined was broken, seven years ago while developing TF2...

The Instant Teleport was cut from further development because Engineer players had a tendency to place their Teleporter Exits in spots that benefited them more than the rest of their team, breaking the idea of team gameplay. It also eliminated much of the risk of Engineers leaving their buildings alone to gather Metal, thereby creating a balance issue. While trying to solve these issues, the development team "found another idea that played much better, attacked the same problem of Engineers being rewarded for moving out from their nest occasionally, and had lots of other interesting applications"; it is unclear which eventual Engineer weapon or ability this statement is referring to.

One of which was a Gunslinger buff, of all things.

So, with what just happened to TF2, why in the blue fuck is anybody excited for End of the Line?
 
Doesnt valve play test these updates before introducing them cause this is one of the worst ideas i've heard in a long time
 
End of the Line...all they gotta do is directly buff mini sentries and its the end of the line for tf2.

Also plz bring back broken short circuit.
 
Well, it looks like Valve changed the Gunslinger back, at least.

Point still stands about End Of The Line, though.
 
because tyrant bottiger doesnt want to give us too much freedom. haven't you caught on as the signatures have gradually gotten smaller

I've seen gaming forums that allow animated avatars and signatures. It gets really annoying very quickly.

It's like scrolling through a tumblr archive of gifs
