Its like 2025, the usual slurs have gotten more creative, and more prone to bypassing methods being made for em. Its gotta so bad as simple as typing "nga" is easy enough to slip through even something like Roblox kids are doing it. I think it would be best if some of y'all take a long look at how ABSURB the official Racial Slur Database has gotten to the point there is triple digit worth of the N for each race. I also think it is high time "tranny" or "trannies" is added to it since the TF2 playerbase has gained quite a sizeable amount of transitioning players and lots of people are just very aggressive to em for no rational reason to the point people are now getting stalked server to server and their profiles mimicked to cause drama over it.

II believe you’re still young and haven’t fully grasped the complexities of justice and morality. But that doesn’t mean you can’t strive for both. Even if you disagree with the opposing viewpoints, that’s what maturity is all about. And if we want our debates to be meaningful and productive, like the ones we’ve had so far, we should aim to be both just and morally upright in our arguments.

We are getting off track. Update the auto-mod for better bypass catching and protecting the new target of hate campaigns solely only done because they are trans, NO ONE should come into a Skial server and instantly be called a pedophile, groomer, school shooter, 41%'er by a wide batch of people in almost EVERY server daily solely because they are trans or considering it or defending someone for being it to the point those ghouls go onto their steam profiles and infest the comments or just report their steam accounts with doctored imagery like I have reported someone using this forum for before toward me because I told them to have some common decency and empathy.

The Auto-Mod does not work well enough right now in an era where almost everyone has free time enough to figure out new ways to hate, cheat and fabricate shit to RUIN someone. My account may be from this year but I have played here during the peak of popularity when the big scandals involving donators cheating or just be actual lolicons was happening, Skial is still seen as a laughing stock and said to have horrible moderation by the vast majority of players who do play here or play in other servers/casual. Us just being like "Let's just let the old tired horse keep working the same field" or "Let's just get rid of the horse altogether, we didn't have it back then!" approach is not working.

IDK, I kinda don't have a whole lot of hope anything will be done about this. The mods have already said the filter is fine as is, so whatever. I would love to help make skial a better place, but only if the mods will agree, and the mods have said it is "fine as is", despite the fact that "faggot" ISN'T EVEN IN THE FILTER. I just feel like there's no reasoning at this point. Not trying to "promote" panda or anything, but I was #2 on Skial's leaderboard from summer-fall of 2019. This server is not what I remember. I have no interest in bettering a server that is governed this way. If it goes under, oh well. Me and many others tried to warn, but we were not listened to. Guess I'll just stick to trolling on skial and playing on panda, the server where I can still play all the fun maps.

That website utilises logs.tf therefore there cannot be any data from Skial

I think If the admins are fine with the current filter, I suggest reporting someone when something happens (for example: if someone has called you a faggot, troon, or some kind of slur in a negative context/that makes you uncomfortable) If the outcome of this suggestion won't do anything. They'll gladly handle it.

Lowkey agree, but i don’t think Skial has the “Highest slur usage” as they do ban bad actors for trying to fuck with people and Slurs.TF dosen't have a list of a leaderboard where which sevrer is the most fucked!(Even if it did, i doubt Skial would be on there)

I haven't looked stats.skial.com yet, but could I see where people are mocking/discriminating trans people? I haven't seen anyone say a bad thing about trans people, so I'm not sure. If someone has played skial servers for long enough, can I please see where did that happen? Should I just look the reports for the reference?

...??? There is no such as Auto-Mod. There's a chat filtering system for automatically muting people out who say a certain word (such as n word), There's also SourceMod's Anti Cheat modified to detect all kinds of cheats in Skial. They can't hire 24/7 mods to stare at the chat/listen the voice chat and get them muted. If someone/you feels uncomfortable with what someone said that may offend them/you, go and report them.

I've checked just now and I don't think there's a chart/statistics for how much slurs has said over time in community servers.

1. If you search for the most known slurs that target transgender people or check the reports for the anti transphobia, or searching a trans slur such as the one with the two Os or the other with the y. Then you will see it being said alot(I checked skial stats and searched it and OH BOI!

2. I think he meant the chat filter system, though the other slurs besides the n word i don’t think are targeted by the filter unless if im wrong! Also, The suggestion is mostly updating the filter to add the slurs that are a reportable offense but not targeted by the filter and crack down on bypasses

Then that's not good either. However, It's up to people to report them If they feel uncomfortable after what they said.

"Faggot" has been suggested to be put in the filter place, although that never happened. I suppose the reason why is because some people who are trans/queer/etc do sometimes use it. Maybe, but I don't know the genuine reason.

To those asking for where my source comes from for the slur usage being dangerously high, it comes from people looking at the most frequent users of Skial's logs being pulled up followed by checking where they place on the 3 different slur leaderboards on the site. Then there's all of the video/photo evidence and logs gathered on these forums itself showing just how many and how often it happens. Skial's been around a while, so its not shocking this place would stockpile the most especially with people like CT saying the old days was less caring toward it.

Hmm ok, Do you mean that you checked a reported user on Skial or on the logs saying a very bad slur and put their user ID on slurs.tf, and then you got alot of results that some or most skial players are high on that leaderboard? Or do you have a link or an article that Slurs.tf has a community server list ranking?

If option 2, then could you provide a source or an link?

First choice but basically, find a reported user or someone who is a veteran to this place, search their slur count then loop back to Skial's chatlog to see if it came from here or not. Basically you are doing 3 different checks to see.

I still find the fact there is a literal Leaderboard for who is the most bigoted or racist is mental
