New Update the Auto-Mod for Auto-mutes

Its like 2025, the usual slurs have gotten more creative, and more prone to bypassing methods being made for em. Its gotta so bad as simple as typing "nga" is easy enough to slip through even something like Roblox kids are doing it. I think it would be best if some of y'all take a long look at how ABSURB the official Racial Slur Database has gotten to the point there is triple digit worth of the N for each race. I also think it is high time "tranny" or "trannies" is added to it since the TF2 playerbase has gained quite a sizeable amount of transitioning players and lots of people are just very aggressive to em for no rational reason to the point people are now getting stalked server to server and their profiles mimicked to cause drama over it.

Yea it will work, and the suggestion is just cracking down on bypasses and banning new slurs via updating the filter and adding them to the ban list along with their known bypasses if they do it as intended from this suggestion


This will not change or damage Skial as a whole nor it won’t kill the US server like CT claims

Hope so too, Skial has to be a safe space and update their filters to have a positive reputation and good morals for their community to be popular!

Lowering its filters and making players free to say slurs however they want will just kill it faster!

I’ve also seen games and their moderation servers still maintain a popular player base even with a regulated moderation that prohibits slurs and cracks down on bypasses and there were other major factors for Skial’s fall besides that such as:

ProKid scandals

The Respawn Coin/People Abusing Glitches in DR Scenarios

Map Quality(The Early Version of Skibidi Toilet being added would be a great example)

TF2 Community servers just dying since Casual is just now popular


Them prohibiting slurs and muting people for saying such slurs is a not one of the main reasons why Skial is falling down

It's not the only reason but it's absolutely a factor. You don't have to worry about getting muted by a janitor with nothing better to do on casual for saying Bad Words™ even when it's only in jest.

I'd like to say that you guys should calm down, have a mature conversation, and think of a solution. However, considering that no one will agree on something this is why It's difficult and I believe it's entirely up to bottiger's decision.

Ok, first off in reasonable mannors what if a fucked person tries to bully a person in minority group by saying slurs to discriminate them or says fucked shit in the chat that alot of people(Unless if they’re from DE) wouldn’t take too kindly or let them get away with it! However if the moderation does nothing against fucked views being spread in the server, those same people saying the same shit will get no consequences and it may cause people in minority groups to leave the server due to bad actors saying fucked shit in the chat and nothing is stopping and start go to other servers

Example of what could happen if Skial dosen’t crack down on bypasses or lowers their levels too much: Fucked People talking about hating gays or whatever and spread their bullshit to discriminate a group. However the filter will do nothing against the other ones or bypasses due to it being so outdated that fucked people could say “Ha ha those *slur bypasses* are having a lemonade stand instead of an orange juice stand lol” which just causes people getting offended to leave to report it to the admins, it also saves time for the admins to add the words to the fitler so they don’t have to deal with the problem themselves unless if they start bypassing the fitler again!

It is not “over policing” to crack down on bypasses and adding slurs to ban to the fitler. Also, the admins will ban people for saying them anyway if reported on the forums

Also saying “oh admins/ the janitors have nothing to better to do in their lifes than report and ban” is just so absurd and outrageous as these people do have a life outside moderating and they’re just trying to do their jobs. Some might not be the best examples, but most are just trying to do their jobs!

Sure maybe being too strict is bad, but lowering it down to the point of “the golden age were people can freely say the n word” will just kill it faster and does it more harm than good! Especially with the 2025 year being more aware and calling out bad actors and bigotry!

lucas, I'm sorry, but I'm not going to be lectured on "unethical behavior". You look at ordinary stuff through the lens of a lawyer way too often, which, to an extent, I understand, but it's ridiculous in cases like these. 1. CT does not have the money to get a lawyer to go after me. 2. No lawyer in their right mind would take his case, and 3. Even if he could afford the lawyer, he would be admitting to the whole world he thinks the earth is flat and that mixed relationships are bad.
