Its like 2025, the usual slurs have gotten more creative, and more prone to bypassing methods being made for em. Its gotta so bad as simple as typing "nga" is easy enough to slip through even something like Roblox kids are doing it. I think it would be best if some of y'all take a long look at how ABSURB the official Racial Slur Database has gotten to the point there is triple digit worth of the N for each race. I also think it is high time "tranny" or "trannies" is added to it since the TF2 playerbase has gained quite a sizeable amount of transitioning players and lots of people are just very aggressive to em for no rational reason to the point people are now getting stalked server to server and their profiles mimicked to cause drama over it.

Cream Tea, that’s just disabling the chat and voice from their view not slur filtering and also its better for the server to prohibit slurs and crack down on bypasses rather than let chaos unfold.

And once again Skial has the rights and I mentioned this before with reason and sources!

You can go into your Steam settings and select "filter strong profanity and slurs" so you don't see them but it seems that certain people would rather keep seeing them and have a meltdown every time.

If chaos unfolds then it is your duty (or @Mae Day) to report it. Saying that chaos will unfold is a guess, not a guarantee. I never had a unplesantry from it but I will never resort to saying it because heck that just ain't my style. And I still haven't witnessed Deathrun EU going down this route. It was just that chill. It might be for others if communicated fairly within context.
But how it is perceived to be chaotic is something preventable from being harassed. That shouldn't happen but hey not a perfect world.

Skial is a business model, but not a gaming company. Decisions are strategized for the longeivity for the playerbase, not donators as often thought. The wider the scope is in welcoming, the greater the community can grow.

I am still waiting on proof also how lack of mutes are not effective enough in resulting turnover. It was never received.

Once Again, Skial has the rights like every gaming server to take down and prohibt slurs. Also keep in mind that people can bypass the filters and that is very common for malicious people to try and find loopholes and i barely even see this working on TF2(I heard slurs in VC and in the text chat on TF2)

What's the point in enforcing something to the point that people quit? It doesn't make any sense to me.
 
+1 for “tranny” and “trannies” to be added to automute filter.

Transgender people kill themselves far more often than their cisgender counterparts. Why perpetuate bullying that causes that here?

Skial EU might had died from stuff you mentioned and i do admit this also has to do with some administration problems like you mentioned, but them prohibiting slurs was not the reason EU fallen to the pits( Its mostly the other moderation dr issues like the respawn coin scenarios)

Especially the ones you circled are actually his chat and Mic being muted. SourceBans for some reason has a different type of what communication gets blocked depending if its a chat block or voice block which if it was a double mute then i would see two chat blocks and voice blocks from source ban

Though the 2nd screenshot does say otherwise but one of the bans are by “CONSOLE” in which that’s not an admin double banning and that’s just the community doing a vote mute which passed. It could just be a coincidence he got vote muted and banned by the admin at the same time

Also me reporting, uhhhh too be fair I'm not really smart at it nor do i have the time to play Skial 24/7 to dig through any report offensive in the game sever. However i do not condemn it and i had gotten into arguments and debates with people thinking “oh racism,transphobia, and bigotry is cool lmao”. I don’t really have what it takes to be A reporter. I can keep this advice in mind and will do if it witness a slur on my game chat though i gotta be smart and may need help on it just so i don’t accidentally commit an Ellis!(Also dosen’t help that i also have fears of reporting people and also never witnessed any slurs being said in a TF2 Deathrun Match once unless that one time it happened but it got caught by the automod)

Business Models also follow the same rules Gaming Companies follow aswell

They’re are other reasons Skial EU was dead and them prohibiting slurs wasn’t the main reason.

Even if skial was still this “golden age where they can freely say the n word” it still would had died. Also, not only that that casual servers are just getting more popular and also people had quitted Skial before due to map taste aswell. Especially how many people i seen left after Skibidi was added type Deathrun Drama

I'd have "faggot" added to the filter.
"Tranny" was also suggested but that's somewhat iffy since it's legitimately used as a short term for "transmission" (in the context of cars) on the off chance there's a discussion about cars on a server. But it may as well be filtered anyway.

+1. Without derailing this thread into shitting on the fucking idiot known as Cream Tea, this is a genuinely good idea. Do not know how in the fuck gala can say it's "fine as is" when tranny and fag are not in the filter. I'd also add "troon" as that's a word that gets used to bully trans people.

"Troon" and the like should be added, its just sounding like an excuse to avoid taking a stance by not adding it at this rate. Most slurs thrown around now in Skial is the N word and people directly attacking someone if they are trans so it should be a literal no-brainer to add in transgender hate-speech in to the filter. Like you would not believe how many people say the "41%'er is playing medic" in the vc or in-game chat or just not calling them by name but just called them Statistic happens with no one ending up reporting them because they don't think its against the rules or from what some of the donators have done and said think its encouraged.

Here's an better idea: Why don't you go into your Steam settings and enable the chat filter? That way you won't have to worry about getting triggered.

can you shut the fuck up already. I am not "triggered" because I think calling a trans person a "troon" or typing the n word in chat are bad. The only """"""triggered"""""" person is you, cream. You're the one who constantly shows up to cry like a little bitch when someone gets in trouble for saying something racist or bigoted. You cannot go around looking at people getting banned for being racist and scream "good heavens, how could skial have become so WOKE and TRIGGERED".
