Its like 2025, the usual slurs have gotten more creative, and more prone to bypassing methods being made for em. Its gotta so bad as simple as typing "nga" is easy enough to slip through even something like Roblox kids are doing it. I think it would be best if some of y'all take a long look at how ABSURB the official Racial Slur Database has gotten to the point there is triple digit worth of the N for each race. I also think it is high time "tranny" or "trannies" is added to it since the TF2 playerbase has gained quite a sizeable amount of transitioning players and lots of people are just very aggressive to em for no rational reason to the point people are now getting stalked server to server and their profiles mimicked to cause drama over it.

Wrong.

I, like many others here, simply don't believe we should be policing the chat in a mature-rated game. It's madness and it's got to stop. Skial has already lost its place as the largest TF2 community to UGC.

You can't just force a change on the people who made up this community to satisfy a few redditors and expect everyone to stay around.

Ok first off every large popular site/community Including Discord Servers, Instagram, Roblox, Other TF2 Servers, etc would prohibit the usage of slurs or discriminatory content and they would even crack down on the bypasses too so malicious people wouldn’t try loopholes to star their fucked shit and target minorities!


And also just because the game is mature is probably because of swearing, alcohol, game is based on literal war, bodies exploding and guts falling, whatever the game got ranked mature for. However this does not justify to lower the moderation just to make it easier for fucked people to say fucked shit!

Doom, SCP:SL, Counter Strike, Ultrakill,Call of Duty Games are all mature but they won’t go on and tolerate players saying fucked shit! Even the largest TF2 Communities that you claim are “bigger than Skial” would stop people from saying fucked shit and crack down on bypasses!

Skial was at it's peak when the chat was virtually a free-for-all. You have to consider that you aren't only competing with other communities anymore you are competing with casual where you can say pretty much anything without having to worry about some SJW deciding to mute you for a month.

This is the rhetoric I saw spread around BlackWonder, PandaGaming's real bad apples and even the shitter ones like FGU's when they said having porn sprays of ANYTHING should be allowed "its mature so we should be allowed to have sprays and objectors that have porn on them even if it is lolicon stuff lol, its just fiction!". The whole "MW3 days would kill some of you" does not work when people like they DID get blasted off from the game afterwards.

I dealt with the awful experience of WaW's online community bitching and moaning with so many racial slurs toward people using the Flamethrower just for them to go poof a week later thanks to forums just like these. If any of the Mercs in the game ain't saying it, you shouldn't.

Since when was this based on competition. Its more like actual supporting minorities groups who are tired of the constant shit and torture they received throughout history and do deserve respect atleast.

“SJWs” as in what people calling out this offensive and outrageous behavior but they don’t want to waste their time dealing with it themselves so they ask an admin for help!

This isn’t the 2016s anymore this is 2025, we changed as a society and we still fight alot of fucked shit in this world and reverse effects of going back!

I actually don't agree with porn sprays because firstly they go against Valve's own rules and secondly the 'M' rating doesn't allow graphic sexual content.

The 'M' rating does allow for strong language however... So why are you insisting that us adults must follow Roblox-tier chat rules while playing?

Storng language as in cuss words, not slurs!

Im pretty sure no official voice-lines even had a slur in this game and the sentence mixing chat command bugs do not count!


Also the skial fitler is nowhere near Roblox’s Fitler because Skial would never # you for saying fuck or the entire sentence now would it!

people should be allowed to scream at their mic with F........ ni....... tra.......... word being mentioned in mature game because that's how i can laugh as much as possible until my pants get pissed again
