Nobody uses it in general. Regulars for jb were just recalling how many admins we currently have strictly through memory. It's a useless tool for the larger populace and anything else is concern trolling.

Even with the list, people still ask how to contact an admin and usually an admin sticks their head out to ask what's up. I don't remember the last time anyone ever has referred to the admin list.

ninja edit: I don't think even the regs are aware the list exists now that i think about it lol

You might not find it useful but others might. I don't even know who all the current admins are right now.

Let's not forget that it serves another useful purpose that being a quick and easy way to verify whether someone really is an admin when they claim to be.

I am interested in how you're sourcing this beyond just vibes and I guess a source of an argument, though I made my post not seeking one. I was an active gameserver admin on panda jb for years and despite my contact information being listed I was never once added from there, and neither were my cohorts. I am telling you from experience it is not a page that people utilize. Everything anyone needed was on the forum, from reporting players and admins to appeals, and if people needed to direct anything to me they'd ping me on discord. For those who don't have discord there was a shoutbox anyone can ask questions into which is responded into often.

You are saying this a lot but aren't providing any substance on it. I can understand needing to know one, MAYBE two admins for questions. Why do you need to know the entire team? Why not is not a good answer to this, if you want to make the case you should make one rather than vaguely indicate others should do it for you.

yep. im not an admin for skial, there's no use arguing with me nor am i seeking out one. im just telling you my own experience having my contact info on an admin list. which, to clarify, wasn't much of anything.
 
That's funny, in reality over half of staff barely even uses forums outside of reports and nobody has a problem with that. Bottiger himself said that he only requires them to do reports

This suggestion should probably be denied. It's very clear Cream Tea is just moaning and none of the people (staff included) are interested enough to put a list of admins together and having it updated for the forums.

Smarter people can tell it's just Cream Tea baiting and bitching.

I mean it was never going to happen no matter how many people suggested it, me and other admins already struck the idea down in private channels. That's that. It's just good to explain the reasons to other people reading this thread, also it's fun to have some discussion on forums
