Scarcely Lethal Noob
It's large and I can honestly see a bunch of us donors chilling out on there.
Just use everything from bottiger's 24/7 Idle Trade & mix it all up in this map I'm sure everyone would enjoy the wide open spaces as we have a bunch of fun.

It's not gm_goldencity as shown in the image, just throwing it out there.

This map is TOO BIG. It needs a 64 slot server (Preferably 100) at minimum and have to be filled regularly to feel worth it, I can easily see players getting lost trying to find where everyone else is at any given moment. Wouldn't feel like a good experience in my opinion.

That's literally my point and I said it's primarily for donors that can easily zip across the map. I'm just saying that there should be more maps for us donors to mess around in. The 24/7 Idle trade can get a bit boring after a while.

Even if the players get lost. gm_bigcity has been around for years and hell, millions have played it. As big as it is they'll get the hang of it if they aren't familiar with the map. Aside from that, using donor abilities in a massive map seems to make the donor experience all the more enjoyable.
Most of the players we spawncamp in 24/7 always talk a hole in our heads on how It's not a good experience to be in that server, what makes this any different? It's just a server for us donors to have fun in. I'm only expanding the taste.

Tf2's highest peaking player count was somewhere around 250k, dunno how genuine it is considering the bot situation but that is still a far cry from millions. I've never seen or heard of this map until this post.

If enough donors want a donor orientated server with this as the map then there may be a chance of approval, but this will never be the main map on the idle/trade server.

I was referring to Garry's Mod players who has experience with gm_bigcity which is very common. There's no doubt that they could possibly have TF2 installed in their steam library as well. It's not about TF2's player count. It's about how many people played gm_bigcity in Garry's mod that very likely plays TF2. It's very popular in general for more than a decade. This map is just an edited clone of it implemented into a downloadable TF2 map.
I never mentioned or would've thought that this would be the main map on the idle/trade server. Again, It's just an additional map so that us donors can have more fun in general as well as that there should be more maps that we can use our donor perks in.

There's a donator discord server I host with about 42 people and 29 of them is a/had donor. I posted the link to this thread in there so we might get some replies on this suggestion.

To be honest, I feel like gm_construct would be a better fit for this. Still, +1

There is oficial topic on Why are my favorite server/settings gone? Why can't we bring them back?
I believe making another region N/A gamemode server will gain more player base account than a very small group of donors on the empty map just to chat around. I wonder what are they gonna talk about? Investments and business staff to become a rich person? For that the Trade server is the best place with people having even more money without a VIP status. You can talk there and have fun around.

Repeating myself again. All I'm suggesting is to have a server with more wide open spaces for regular players to mainly explore, chat around and relive the classic gm_bigcity in TF2 though in the specifics it's a golden opportunity for donors to go all out with their perks. They may test some new things out thanks to the large spaces. If you want to talk about money and trading which seems irrelevant to this suggestion? It's a server to primarily mess around in rather than trading. Maybe Bottiger will add some stuff in there for all we know. Think of it this way, If you genuinely believe that making another region N/A gamemode server will gain a larger player base than a small group of donors and wonder what they are gonna talk about. Then maybe consider thinking that many of them may want to become a donor from seeing us soaring across the skyscrapers with our exclusive rocket jumpers whilst playing as heavy. If anything this may be a profitable idea for Skial in general.

I'm aware about the official topic. The thing about that is that there's always a roll of the dice with every new server added. Some go up, some go down. So really, there's no need to be pessimistic about this suggestion if things are looking bright so far. People are already seeing it as a good addon to the server list seems solid enough.
