I wouldn't call SOPA dead, I'm sure it will pop up again. We still have to worry about PIPA, too.

Well, I don't vote or give a shit about politics, but I heard some speech by Romney, and it was pretty damn good. That and being in the northeast and hearing of all his success is making me think he'll win.
Iunno.

I called it on SOPA. Just like I called it on Schwarzenegger v. EMA. Of course if Curious George thinks he's gonna get re-elected he'd better find a way to fix this economy he's been helping to trash for the last three years.

Nah, he'd never do that.

BTW, Eric Cantor is responsible for killing the bill. Long before it got to the desk of our illustrious president.

Google his name if you don't know who he is. I'm not your secretary.

Dear Obama:

I hope Romney won't win. Most of the time when the republicans governed the USA you guys started wars for oil or did other bad things.

I agree, but he's a pretty cool guy.. [Shrug]

Just wish we could get Bill Clinton back. He was the shit. Fucking lowest the national debt ever was... :(

Remember, most of our economy's downfall stems as far back as the Clinton Administration.
To put it in layman's terms, they buffed up our economy so much, it left little room to expand and improve.
Edit: Damnit CiNiC, you ninja'd the fuck outa my post.

Yeah, I'm quite well aware of that. The whole mess with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, The bullshit that is the Dodd-Frank Bill. Roots of the housing collapse that were long sewn before Obama got to office.

My question is; if Obama thought all these silly ideas like TARP were bad, why did he double down on them?

(I hate discussing politics, it always ends in a shouting match.)
