The prices are too expensive and the fact that that most of things we can buy lasts for just a week makes it just hard to get all the things.
I say change all the things priced at 10k to 3k-5k credits and all the things priced at 20k to be priced at 7k-10k credits.
Thanks

I did some math and it takes 15 hours of seeding per week if you want to maintain the ability to use taunts and unusual effects alone. That's only two of the items

People have almost 40k credits already http://store.skial.com/top.php
i dont think its a problem of how many credits people have i think its a problem of maintaining 15 hours of seeding a week just to get 2 of the benefits. if you want all the benefits you need around 25 hours of seeding bonuses a week. and then people will also want to be saving for titles. I feel like it is far to much work to keep the ap benefits we used to have and save for titles. its well over 20 times more work just to keep the old ap benefits alone with nothing else.

You aren't supposed to be able to get all the benefits easily.

And 15 hours per week really is not much when you can afk it.

We made it too easy to get Australium Points than we ever intended to.

Titles don't need to be changed.. if anything more expensive

its not easy to afk. you can only do it well on idle and thats only 2880 credits a day

i didnt say titles. i think titles are mostly fine. i think the 1 week items are too expensive.

i agree with this for the one week items.
I say change all the things priced at 10k to 3k-5k credits and all the things priced at 20k to be priced at 7k-10k credits.
that way we dont have to spend all of our free time seeding servers in order to get 1, maybe 2 things a week while still saving our credits for a fancy title.

Pretty sure you're not meant to be able to have all the temp items anyway

i didnt say to have all of them. that is absurd. but for regular players who dont join specifically to seed and gain 2000 credits an hour, it is a choice between, save for 1-2 weeks for a title i can get forever, or save for 1-2 weeks for the ability to use all taunts for 1 week for the same price.

To be honest I have to agree, imo now that nolife title has been added there is no reason to change title prices anymore but the temporary items are way too expensive, there is really no insentive to save up however many credits for something you can only keep for one week when the longest you can keep it for is one week especially if you actually want to just play on a full server rather than constantly seed. On top of this as what was said earlier if you want to spend your credits on the temporary items in order to maintain them every week you have to spend 15 hours seeding and yeah sure that's not that much if you are a regular player and you enjoy seeding but there are two problems with this. A. Not everyone enjoys seeding and B. Even then the 15 hours of credits spent per week to maintain these kinda useless perks could be spent on saving up for an expensive title (not that titles have any more use but they are permanent). If you factor in the fact that those weekly credit inputs can really add up to high amounts over the weeks then you can see there is really no point in investing in them unless you are really dedicated.

tl;dr Prices are too high for temporary items, not everyone seeds, permanent items more appealing, make temp items marginally cheaper plz, -30% of original price.

Not everyone enjoys seeding

Well no one enjoys seeding, but if no one seeds, then servers never get filled. That's kind of the point of the store. To reward people for doing something that people don't want to do, but is crucial for keeping the servers alive.

15 hours per week is 2 hours a day. Which is a really low amount of time.

People already have over 100k credits now and the store hasn't even been out for 2 weeks. Most of the top 100 have 20k. http://store.skial.com/top.php

Those people with over 50k credits mostly bought them from people and placed bets. It's become a thing to buy credits on the trade servers apparently.

I'm making a suggestion about this. That just seems ridiculous. Credits are Skial property awarded to the users, they shouldn't be used as something to make a quick buck off of.

Here's an update on this, from the perspective of the contest to give it some context.

Skial Store contest, which was launched from this post: https://www.skial.com/threads/skial-store-contest.73959/
The contest began 15th May at 7pm GMT, it has been 2 days and 21 hours since the competition was opened.
As noted on the post announcing the contest, this page shows the top 100 players in terms of credit gain*.

From this page, we can see the positions from 1 - 100, currently the #1 and #100
  • #1 - brothersmothers1994 AFK - 70563
  • #100 - Starfruitified - 9131
Now, it is worth noting that the page shows everyone, not just those who have bought a ticket.
For reference, the taunt command in the store is 10,000 credits - let's take the first user with 10,000:
  • #78 - |VîtØ - 10062
  • #79 - mr.cat™ - 9978
Therefore, out of all of the players on Skial, only the top 78 people can afford to purchase !taunt
In two days and 21 hours, only the very top 78 players in the whole of Skial can buy the command.

This, in my opinion, is far too high. People shouldn't have to seed in order to purchase things from the store.
I understand that seeding is the most useful someone can be, but playing on the other servers is still useful.
Imagine a world in which our servers are full 24/7 and seeding wasn't needed - people would really struggle.

Bare in mind, this is just to purchase one item from the store - it took the #78 player nearly three days.
People have other things outside of Skial, work life, loved ones, we shouldn't just be saying "But that player got 70,000 in nearly three days!".
These are the extreme cases in which people are competing to win expensive hats and other rewards.

It reminds me of a story I heard about a company that held a "The person who takes the fewest holiday days gets a prize!" competition.
The winner only took 3 holiday days - at which point the CEO declared that people clearly didn't need holidays and reduced the number of days people were allowed.
We should be looking at what the vast majority of players can do and saying something along the lines of:
  • Top 40% of players should be able to purchase 1 store item
  • Top 30% of players should be able to purchase 2 store items
  • etc...
Unless 40% of Skial's total population is 78 players, this needs to be looked at - and changed.

*does not include gifts or betting wins, just the X credits gained every Y seconds
