A lot of people who made the switch from smoking for years to vaping found that it cleared their lungs and sinuses up like crazy, but I'm guessing that for a person who didn't smoke before it couldn't help you much

Electronic cigarettes and vaping provide much wider variety not only in branded aromas and flavors (got mine newest 0mg eliuquid from Gypsyvapes), but also in nicotine dosage down to zero and ejuices customization. Altough I don’t mix DIY eliquids myself, I recognize it as possibly the strongest pro-eliquid point in ejuices vs traditional tobacco battle.

Nice, how do you like the goon? Looks pretty awesome with the glass bell cap!
Too much airflow. Have to vape 50x50 juice on it to get a throat hit. But flavor is great.
I'm my opinion, I think in a few years we're gonna see large side effects from vaping.
Vaping has been around for about 10 years. Haven't heard of a single documented death due to vaping. Cigarette contains 250 known carcinogens while ejuice contains only 2. I'd take a risk of vaping over the risk of smoking every day.

I, as well, believe that it has way lower risks (as of right now), and there currently isn't any evidence that shows chronic issues.

My distress comes from history. Tobacco and marijuana didn't have large side effects until they started shoving anything barely legal into them. As e-cigs use vapor, I fear it'll be even easier to add addictive and dangerous substances into the liquids.

It could just be paranoia.

edit: Re-reading this and I sound like a conspiracy theorist.

Nah, you sound OK. I had my doubts too. The doubts you have sound viable, btw. Everything is possible. I've been vaping for over 2 years so far and noticed nothing but improvement. My breath got almost perfect, I can run again (no shortness of breathing), just 2 months ago I checked my heart and did chest X-ray (I was concerned about possibility of having "popcorn lungs") - both came back positive; moreover, my doctor told me that my lungs are back to non-smoker state.

Time will tell if there are any side effects in the long run.
