OK I updated my drivers and ran CCcleaner

Fingers crossed

Finally got the damn patch installed two hours after I started trying to run it

I think the issue was Windows trying to run updates at the same time. Once I ran the Windows updates, the Overwatch update went cleanly.

Now to actually play <.<
