But you can deal with witch time like any other counter. Just wait for the animation to end or grab them, and you've got an easy punish.
That's not my issue with it, if you get caught in Witch Time the Bayonetta player has a really nice and long time to do what they want, it's just as easy to hit as a counter but holy shit you can kill them at just about any percent with it.

I used to not use a moves at all. Only c-stick and b moves because "a moves suck". I actually remember the day I discovered the c stick and smash attacks in brawl. I freaked out because they were good. Before that, I ONLY used B moves.

I have yet to see anyone do worse things with it than what a hard counter could do.
 
I love it when people whiff their Bitch Time by missing 2 smash attacks so I can whail on them. A lot of people overestimate how long it lasts and I can end up countering their fully charged smash to kill them at around 20% so it's really down to the user if it's bad or good

When first trying her out I got hit by Bitch Time and they taunted while still trying to fully charge a smash attack.

They don't earn the opportunity to kill you at fucking 0 with it. Even against skilled players it's not a hard thing to just take a guess and use counter or bitch time. It's overpowered and needs nerfed, don't try and justify bs.

This makes no sense and shouldn't exist the way it does. I get that this game is moslty just you trying to figure out what the other person is going to do. Killing with Witch Time really doesn't take skill, you have the time to do that shit.

And what infinite are you talking about? Any infinite that somebody has found can be smash DI'd out. But you can't Smash DI your way out of Witch Time bullshit. And you have yet to run into a Bayo that could kill you at 0 because For Glory players are trash.

Witch time takes absolute 0 skill to capitalize on, what are you talking about?

Also, I don't think mario has an infinite and definitely doesn't have any combos that kill at stupidly low percents (with the exception of up-air strings, which you need platforms to utilize properly anyway.)
Also metaknight's is a lot like mario's in execution except you don't need platforms and it can kill earlier, but won't kill like bayonetta's witch time at all.
