When the game is a part of a series, of course most people are going to compare it to the rest of the series. Because it's a series.
Soundtrack is good, but I can't buy a game just because it has a good soundtrack.

They basically used the Beetlejuice NES gimmick. You have to buy attacks to beat the boss, but to do that you need cash and to get enough cash you have to fight mini bosses because basic enemies don't give you enough unless you wanted to grind. And those attacks are limited in use so you have to keep buying more, and that means fighting more mini bosses. It's just using the same formula as a farming simulator.
I would agree with this if the game actually did force you to buy the most powerful attacks in the game but it doesn't. You can find all of them in environment from the things to the mega rainbow stickers. The thing that gives an advantage against a boss can be found in its respective chapter and the mega rainbow stickers (the highest tier attack stickers) can not be bought from any store in the game.

doesn't make it a bad game either.
you literally, and I'm not bullshitting the term "literally", I mean literally just said "flawed!=bad"

jesus christ dude I get you're a contrarian and shit but you can just say you like the game despite its flaws and be done

He never said that.
battling not giving you anything is the only real issue I had with the game, and bosses couldn't be defeated with one attack (at least not big blooper and onwards, never tried the first 2 bosses).

lack of interesting characters- high expectations because its a paper mario game.

but lookg at it as it's own game and not a paper mario game, it's flawed, sure but it has some really redeeming factors such as the soundtrack, the exceedingly awesome animations when popping a thing sticker, fighting kamek was always cool and the worlds you explored were really cool but I wish they didn't lay it out the way they did.

EDIT: I fucked up.

where the fuck did I say flawed means bad? literally grab the quote and show me.

holy shit, at least read back

I don't even like Paper Mario all that much, let's talk about something better like the direct.

Please, please, please Nintendo give us the *New* 3ds's release date!

idk kinda assumed you passed highschool

not even google knows what you're talking about.

and also how about not being an asshole about it? I'm sorry I didn't pick up on that unidentifiable set of symbols you layed out there and interpreted it as something else.

that's because of how google handles symbols as search options

Oooooooohhh that's an awesome ad.

Seeing "New" being used as the tag line in NA makes me worry about the New Nintendo Wii U.

Mr.L is one of the reasons I love that game so much, the 3d/2d gimmick was neat too!
YAAS THAT THEME IS MY FUCKING RINGTONE
Mr L's the best thing that happened to Luigi, I still wish he was a Smash 4 Skin.

Also, I'm in school when the Direct airs, fml :(
