It shocks me that this hasn't broken into the national media more then one or two articles. Man calls police because a kid is pointing his airsoft gun at people (noteworthy: it didn't have the orange tip) and states the gun looks fake and the kids being a nuisance. Police are told there is a ARMED MAN in the park rather then a 12 year old kid fooling around, and 2 seconds after pulling up DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THIS 'ARMED MAN' shoot him.

No charges filed, no suspensions or firing, people actively defending the cops and saying they "couldn't know" and "were in fear for their lives" because the kid lifted his freaking shirt up to show it wasn't real.

But yeah, Ferguson, rah-rah.

How about the officer who murdered a sleeping 7yr old girl and had charges dropped? If anyone was gonna riot over something, I would think that would be it.

I haven't even seen this break a national headline... I mean, it amazes me, THIS is the stuff we should be up in arms for but we are continuing to gossip over the guy who got shot after assaulting a officer and grabbing for his gun.

-no distinguishable feature that proved it was fake
-reaching for a potential weapon to prove it is fake. Lol. (even after supposedly shouted at 3 times)
-said district is said to have highest amount of homicide

At the same time:
-Rookie police
-Shit operator

Real hard to actually decide on a side.

Regardless, this is probably another one of those controversial stories that would be forgotten a few weeks later.
