+1 for the VaccinatorThe Vaccinator allows a player to be immune to crits, which is an exploit when used on an allcrits server. also, banning the Darwin's Danger Shield would be nice too, as they are frequently used in tandem.
FTFYI think the danger shield is fine, but the Vaccinator definitely needs to go.
That would be ok if Vaccinator Medics played offensively. Mostly they just hang around and heal snipers.just cause it's a bullet hell crit server doesn't mean people cannot play strategically.
That happens everywhere, doesn't mean it should be banned. Just go soldier to counter it, most Vaccinator Medic's stay on bullet resistance so they can win da game. That would be ok if Vaccinator Medics played offensively. Mostly they just hang around and heal snipers.
Even without uber, anyone healed by the Vaccinators is immune to crits. Also, even without the bug it's still an exploit around the gamemode. So what's the logistic here?
A bug that causes the vac to give crit resistance to the medic/his heal target/both?
Is the bug passive or does it need to be exploited?
Can someone explain a bit more clearly as to what is actually happening.
I looked it up on the wiki and it appears that any damage reduces the ubercharge up to 75% per explosion.Even without uber, anyone healed by the Vaccinators is immune to crits. Also, even without the bug it's still an exploit around the gamemode.
from the previous paragraph:I'm not sure if the crit protection is a bug or not, and the wiki is unsure either way, but the fact that they have tried to balance crits out by the reduction of charge in relation to damage taken suggests this is a planned feature.
Also, and this is likely a bug, the bonus damage of critical hits is entirely resisted during this passive benefit (as opposed to only during Übercharge), and this does not incur any ÜberCharge penalty.
