Problem: Unmoderated gets mean things posted to it that no one means and no one has to see if you choose not to go there. It got pulled apart from the regular forums just for this sort of thing. So you know, it would stop being spread all over every where, sarcastic or not. Oh, did you know that it is now a bannable offence to publicly declare, on the forums, that you are forever leaving skial? Know why? People would say it and come back not a week later. It happened at the same time unmod got made.

link 3: IDK that seems pretty funny to me. Crying about getting pub stomped to a community that doesn't mind traffic from people who do not suck, and then bam. Vac banned. That's very nearly exactly what irony is.

Unmoderated posts really can't count for your argument. It's not a "hostile" experience on the regular forums because of an unmod post.

As for the admin thing, yeah perhaps a little mean spirited, but still funny.

For the pubstomping guy, I think you're really grasping at straws. We call this justice porn, someone makes a whiny, self important post about how team stacking ruins servers..proceeds to do the thing that ruins servers the most, hack. (Also in unmod btw.)

There are going to be posts where people are made fun of, there are going to be posts where people aren't so kind to each other..anonymity promises that - that said, you'll be hard pressed to find it a common occurrence outside of unmod.
 
I could compile a list of everytime has unfairly been rude or bullied another member, and only one of those posts was unmodded, what difference does it make though, you've made up your mind.
 
This thread is dumb and pointless, why would you make it? Plus all of those links are pretty tame compared to some of the shit that's happened.
 
Not everyone going to agree with each other, it's human nature. Plenty of people hate Skiala, Lotus, tf2 itself, even steam. This is just a game and a gaming forum, not real life.

Not that this should apply to Skial at all, but.
Alliances are not always the best thing, look at the current stand on the world and history with alliances.

Actually, it's not Skial that's hostile, it's the internet.
If you're new here, I suggest getting used to it or leaving. :L
Even if you do like peace and quiet not everyone does, so the existence of trolls will never fade.

Is there an ACTUAL specific thread that made you think this?
 
the closest thing to "alliances" are the cliques players make. honestly, i think that skialites would play more with each other if we knew each other more. everyone here is pretty cool though. so "hating each other" is not a problem. you cant force players to friend everyone else. it happens naturally.

and most of this arguing that barely happens is just small things (for the most part small) that gets stretched to real life "drama". just dont pay attention to it. and..

it kind of ticks me off when people on skial call this "drama". because it is not
