On a side note what do you think how much would a hat cost? Like the grenadier's softcap?
Well if we've got 23,000 crowns or 375 crystal energy = 1 refined, I guess if someone were willing to sell the Softcap for CR or CE, they should ask around 45,000 crowns or 750 CE.
I'm hoping that people with high end stuff will want crowns/CE.
And going off the tf2spreadsheet:
Bill's Hat should equal 270K CR or about 4,400 CE (I'm rounding up a bit here)
Buds would then be about 640k CR or 8,800 CE
Max's Head should be about 2.56 million CR or 35.2K CE
And thus HOUWAR should be about 10 million CR or 140k CE.
That's my objective in Spiral Knights now: Make 10 Million CR & then get a HOUWAR.
Or with about 370 dollars worth of make believe money I guess I could trade for a bunch of games instead. That'd make more sense wouldn't it?
The only problem with trading between Spiral Knights and TF2's economy is that despite the money comparisons of CE to refined: 1 refined takes a player about two weeks to farm (assuming one account.) I haven't gotten to the tier where I'm able to craft 5 star armor & such, but I'd imagine that making 23k CR at that point has got to be pretty easy.
At the same time, I don't quite know what the high end economy of Spiral Knights is like. You can make 2 star items twice a day if you buy all the materials, 3 star items once a day if you buy all the materialss. However, a 4 star item would take three days to make assuming you're conserving energy, since you have to buy all the materials (including a 3 star item) and then level that 3 star item up to level 5 (which will use all or most of your mist energy for the day.) The next day you craft the item. The next day you unbind the item.
Of course you could do that all in one day, but then you've got to trade some crowns for 200 CE. Maybe the profit's big enough the 11k's not a big deal.
But at the same time, 2 star items are easy to sell because there's always an abundance of newer players needing decent gear. What's the demand like for 4 & 5 star items?
