But to think that tomato was banned and he came back to write a thread about religion?!
What? Tomat got banned for 3 months because of this thread. He didn't make it after he was recently unbanned. Also according to CiNiC Tomat is permanently banned.

Posted way back when this thread was started, just too lazy to edit my last post
Growing up my mom took me and my brother to church mostly, dad only came on Easter and Christmas (if we were lucky). Back when I was a kid I didn't care for religion, I just went to make my mom happy. In middle school I considered myself an Atheist because I had given up on God and life in general, but when I was 14 I went to church camp and accepted God into my life. My family is part of the LCMS (Lutheran Church Missouri Synod), I go to church almost every Sunday (except when I'm out of town/sick) and participate quite a bit in our youth group. I accept people for who they are and respect what they believe in

Why was he banned again exactly? I always seem to miss the drama on this site somehow.

Hasa Diga Eebowai, I really don't care for religion but I believe if God created us, he should be able to take a joke. Agnostic represent yo.

I tend to stick with being non-denominational. I haven't been a church (as in, going more than once) in six years, mainly because I disagree with most of the churches I've been to in my area. I typically find tv pastors offensive and tend to stick with reading my Bible once in a while and discussing it with a friend. I've sort of fallen out of Christianity lately because of a few bad things, but I've been trying to recover and get back on track with God.

I'm a christian. I don't practice it though. I used to go to church when I was really young, but I never really found a church I liked. I accept that everyone has their different beliefs. I was raised by my father to believe in God. Him and I are very open minded people and feel everyone has their right to practice any religion or not. I don't think have a religion should be a requirement, but a choice. I choose to believe in God. That's all I'd like to say for now.

Stay away from televangelists / megachurches.

I usually keep away, but my dad likes to watch a few of them so unfortunately I have to hear it too. I'd rather be out helping someone one way or another and working with the public than be in church or watching it on tv on a Sunday morning.

I believe in there being some higher power which can not be explained, but all religions are dumb.

Friend invited me to church when I was in elementary school. Became baptist. Baptized and all that. Although I may not act like it at times, I try to abide by what I'm called to do and all. Which is being a Christian. That being said, I don't force my beliefs onto anyone EVER. Sure, I'll talk to people and ask if they're interested. If they say "yes, I am interested", then great. If not, then I let them be and still try to be friends with them.
