What is with all the Tomatketcup hate, yeah I know he was a massive troll but he was a nice guy when you got to know him. Geez people most of you only know his bad side.

Except in the Bible, it says murder is against natural law and that we are allowed to pass judgement on the murderer.

I would break out Bible verses but I'm not sure how people would take it.

Jedders, this isn't a theological debate thread. Many people forget that Jesus removed Christians from under the Old Testament's laws through his bloodshed.(Everything is permissible but not everything is edifying/beneficial. ) Hence tasty, delicious bacon is allowed. Adultery, however, was covered in the New Testament as well. Basically, New Testament supersedes Old Testament. If you're going to criticize, make sure you aren't incorrectly stating their beliefs.

As for me, I ain't sure where I stand. I can debate the finer points of it just fine, and explain /approximately/ what's said, but I can't honestly stand up and state with 100% certainty "I'm a Christian." Some of the best people I've known have been Christians. And some of the worst I've known have called themselves Christians as well. It often seems too much of a bother to try and correct people's mistaken beliefs about Christians since there are so many hypocrites.
But hey, I used to use this example to think of it this way: If I live a happy life believing this, and it doesn't turn me into a vapid person like the WBC, what have I lost if it's wrong and the science-does-everything crowd is right?

Because it's the only side he shows on public

We had jehovah's witnesses knocking on our door yesterday, thing is they didn't seem to get the message after repeated "we are not interested" and they still rattled on even after my wife kept calling the dog in from the front garden: "Darwin, Darwin, come in boy".

Jehovah's Witnesses are just about as bad as the door to door vacuum salesmen. Also, cute dog name.

So if someone doesn't believe in science they are educated? Just sayin.

Edit: Here's another thing religious people get wrong 9/10 times. They take it upon themselves to judge others, yet the only one that is allowed to judge is God.
Matthew 7:
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged.
7:2
For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
7:3
“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
7:4
How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?
7:5
You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

James 4:12
There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you--who are you to judge your neighbor?

Note that not all judging is forbidden:
John 7:24
Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment.”

Matthew 7:2
"For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Matthew 18:15a
“If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone.
^ This is meant in a caring context, e.g. one could argue that it would not be judging but pointing out of faults, in a manner that is supportive.

95% of the "judging" that goes on today is not biblical. Among Christians or non-Christians.

I dont care what you say nobody has the right to judge how another lives their life.
This is a "We do not tolerate intolerance". It nullifies itself by breaking its own rules.

Both won't take no for an answer.

I would give you 15 informatives if I could.

Biblical judgement? Well according to the bible slavery is O.K.

When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again. But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her. And if the slave girl's owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave girl, but he must treat her as his daughter. If he himself marries her and then takes another wife, he may not reduce her food or clothing or fail to sleep with her as his wife. If he fails in any of these three ways, she may leave as a free woman without making any payment.
Exodus 21:7-11

When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property.
Exodus 21:20-21

Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ.
Ephesians 6:5

Christians who are slaves should give their masters full respect so that the name of God and his teaching will not be shamed. If your master is a Christian, that is no excuse for being disrespectful. You should work all the harder because you are helping another believer by your efforts. Teach these truths, Timothy, and encourage everyone to obey them.
1 Timothy 6:1-2

And yet no Christian follows this (or at least the ones I know) because it's an issue of historical context. Back then slavery was a part of the Middle Eastern culture and considered okay. Cultures and traditions change overtime. Being a Christian doesn't mean just blindly following specific rules laid out in the Bible. To follow rules such as "selling daughters to slavery" would be ridiculous.

There's an Old Testament and a New Testament for a reason. The New Testament abolished the Old Testament laws such as some of the things that were listed. Know the reason why there's two different sections before you pull up Bible verses.

Exodus is old testament (part of the hebrew bible), Christianity follows the teachings of Christ (new testament), the quotes from the new testament here are not justifying slavery, they are instruction on how a slave should behave to their masters (the majority of which would have been roman).
