Well, you got me to apologize for a mistake because of slippery slope (despite you posting a disruptive spray, and again after I asked you to cut it), and you also got me a new sig.
:)

Uh, again, my apologies.

In related news, I've been going a week without drinking, starting day before yesterday.
Half made this post seeing if I could bait a "Like" from Airakah. SUCCESS.

Before complete derailment: I can't change the Ban Reason on an expired ban on SourceBans with my account (without rebanning). Can one of the main dudes do it out for me?

Change it to what? It's kind a moot point by now, but if it was changed, what would you change it to?

"I'm a personality..." "Yeah, a bunch of people have been angry with me lately because of different opinions..."

I think that's the problem though. There's different ways to approach things, asking nicely or being respectful can change the outcome of a whole conversation, it just seems that you come off the wrong way. There's quite a few admins on these servers and I haven't heard anyone else's name when people are complaining.

Turovik's ban seems to have been more emotional on your part (not liking the spray). I know Turovik checked the rules prior to posting his spray, again asked nicely I'm certain he would've removed it and this whole discussion could've been avoided. Note that this thread was not created to discuss Turovik's ban however.

Like he said he enjoys this server so much that he donated.

Me and others have doubts about why you're an admin. If you have a short temper or don't like people questioning your opinion on the servers then what can someone do? It creates an unpleasant atmosphere on the servers and this is what we're complaining about. Personality makes a huge difference when you're managing people or administering a server.

I myself would like to figure out why you're an admin if so many people are complaining. I've mentioned it somewhere in the thread but if it's that you're real life friends with the owners of the server then please say so. People can then make the decision of shutting up or they can change servers entirely.

Atleast when they're bitching we can say oh well, you have to live with it. If we know there's something being done about it then we can worry a little less.

On another note what are the penalties for an admin breaking the rules? Since it definitely wasn't vote spam. "Extra rules for admins"

Most bans comes with most baww. Client mute really isn't that hard, dude. Every ban I've done has been based upon the rules, and I haven't let any predetermined emotions towards someone determine that - regardless of what you end up hearing, in my opinion. As I said, I am a personality, and I carry out administrative actions. They're separate.

Everyone on the server didn't like the spray, and he should have had the respect and common sense not to respray it.

I always allow people to question my opinions on the server if they'd like to, and I am glad to explain it to them if need be. I've sat through legitimate tirades of people going after me personally on server and attempting to get a rise out of me via an admin action, and I sit there and listen until they decide to break a rule.

No, I am not friends with Bot.

If I wasn't an admin, I would still be having the same personality on the servers, sans removing or taking action at you being disruptive with homosexual sprays that the server dislikes. You are painting it as if I am constantly breaking the rules myself, when being critical toward members of your team is not a consideration. The day that happens, I'll gladly hang up my mic and start watching MLP with you.

I'm admin because I had a ton of time on the server at the time I got it, and I've gone out of my way - staying up nights, bringing my laptop to friggin' work so I can get rid of any problems during lunch, leaving servers to take care of idiots - to do what I can. Handled the forum report system with Creeping Death alone for the first few months of the server. If there's a problem, I review it as soon as I can. I have an eye for hackers (at least when it's in first-person), as well.

So many people are complaining because of recent actions. It hasn't gotten to the point where people actually go out of their way to discuss me when I'm not even on the server until now, predominantly because of my sternness in attempting to enforce things that disrupt the server according to the rules. My only remorse is that other people being dramafags on-server in front of people who AREN'T regular members of the forums are painting things poorly for them.

As for penalties? I mis-marked a ban reason because of a simple mistake, even though Turo DID break the rules in a different way and ignored the warning. I already offered my apologies.
We do strip admin actions. I once had them stripped because of a misconception, along with StayingClassy. We didn't have mute or gag for a month. However, that was for us offering bans for things that weren't against the rules, sadly. In this case, none of the extra rules were broken.

Your friend's spray is grotesque and pornographic. He was told not to spray it by an admin, but did it again anyway. I don't really see where he or you have a leg to stand on here. And attacking CiNiC's personality seems like a cowardly way to get around the ban. If Roman decides to overturn it, that's his call. But if your friend keeps disobeying the rules, I doubt anyone will be sympathetic.

That's the thing. It was a ONE DAY, EXPIRED ban and they're making a shitstorm out of it for the hell of it.

Well, that explains a lot. lol

Sometimes people are getting tired. I though don't understand what the problem is. If you get a warning from admin - please obey and then question admin's actions on the forum, not ignore him and then come complaining. If CiniC's voice is annoying over the mic - then mute him personally (like I did) and enjoy the silence. He was given admin for a reason and even though he fucks things up sometimes he has a proven record of proper server administration.
