type status in console, find the player number (furthest left on the list) of the player you want to mute, and type:

 !sm_ignore "#playernumber"

In chat.

you dont need sm_ unless you're going to type it in console and if you put it in console you dont need the !

Im pretty sure that the ignore is recorded, and will remain in place against that player until you manually uningnore them. If you want to unmute them in the future, do the same thing, and it will unignore the player(although it may be a different player number, depending on if they reconnected/are on a different skial server).

Like I said, when he reconnects, he will have a new player number, and you will have to find it by typing status again
